Mental Kenny, One Week in Intensive Care, Almost Dead, Diphenidine, Warning-Achtung!!

They just showed me the paper with the lab results, they didn't give me a copy. I might be able to get it if I ask them. I have to go back for blood tests next week anyway, I might ask them if I can get a copy of the tests. I doubt they will give it to me though.
 
Don't see why they wouldnt give you a photocopy if its attached to your records. I would be very interested to see the analysis. When I was hospitalised they looked up desoxypipradrol in TOXBASE, I asked them for a photocopy, and I published it on BL for the greater good :P

Privacy laws, we have the strictest privacy laws in Europe, you can't have CCTV in work places, etc. You wouldn't believe the amount of paperwork they made me sign. The doctors only showed me the lab tests as while talking to me they understood I was more knowledged than their average patient.

I will have to speak with my drug worker, he's definately going to get the test results as I said he's a top bloke and he might share the papers with me even if he's not allowed to do so. Will ask him. If I get a copy I'll take a photo and send it to you Ceres. It won't be before next week though

They didn't even give me the paper showing what they found in my blood, they just told me verbally.

On the papers the hospital gave me it just says, acute new designer drug intoxication, it doesn't even mention the substance. Not joking.
 
Yeah the hospitals basically just class them as NPS and are often completely in the dark about a lot of these drugs. THey might let you take a photo with your cameraphone even if they wont give you a hard copy. Would be very interesting to see the breakdown of what was in the diphenedine mix. Vendors really should up their game in terms of how they analyse the stuff they are selling.

In which case I consider it possible that a vendor quite happy to flout the law & package novel RC's with such a lack of caution might also be quite happy to release dirty, dangerous versions of chemicals onto the public causing the kind of problems Kenny faced.
 
I reckon there is only one vendor currently active who is a true psychonaut and not just in it for the cash, I've known him online for years, honest and reliable guy. The rest are like your average drug dealer, they couldn't care less as long as they get their money.

Still it should be a basic for all businesses to make sure you don't kill your customers. Not good in the long term, but I guess a lot of these vendors just open the sites, make the dosh then fuck off to Thailand.
 
Even though the packaging states 'not for human consumption' the vendor is well aware that people are indeed consuming his goods. So i certainly think it is worthwhile informing him of what happened as then he hopefully will stop sending the stuff out as i'm sure they wouldn't want to be slagged off on the internet and maybe have a death on their hands
 
Although clearly your drugs regime was somewhat foolhardy, if not downright stupid, I am surprised that after nearly dying & posting all over BL about it, that you still chose not to mention it to the vendor 8(

I think the vendor should be advised immediately that one of their products is badly synthed, full of toxins, & dangerous.
 
That's a good point, I just thought about informing you guys. I'll see what they say, they will probably just deny and say it was my fault for overdosing.
 
Good on ya mate, Bluelighters are not the only people who take RC's. Your efforts might just save a life.

If, as I suspect, both Sepher & Knock passed away after using Diphenidine, it would have been something of a disaster to lose you to the same drug!
 
Thank god you made it, Kenny. That's a hell of an ordeal.

As for giving out the name of the vendor... we all know that you're not supposed to mention vendors on the public board, but you have a PM system that no-one else can read. :|

It is not the diphenidine itself which is the problem, this is an issue of a dirty synth being flogged by a vendor who it seems isn't equipped to make sure their product is clean. (In my humble opinon)

To be honest I think they know their product is shite as it was half its usual price, hence the reason why I bought it. They had a "SALE" on several items, some were the chalkiest weakest diclazepam tablets I ever had(been munching them since january but I still very much feel the good ones) and the other stuff on sale was the diphenidine. I think they are very much aware that those diclaz pellets are mostly bunk, I still had some from another vendor which were good so I can compare and the Diph was half price, with "half price and sale" written on it in red.

With hindsight that should have been a warning.
 
I doubt using Ethylphediate in such doses in the run up to your session on Diphenidine was particularly safe move, but for the sake of argument we'll assume that the toxic by-products or the compound itself was the cause of your health crisis.

Then we assume that this batch is the same batch that was around when Knock passed away, who was without question posting in PD about using this drug when he passed away, which would make the batch about a year old... People described his posts deteriorating suddenly, but unfortunately they have all been redacted since he died.

I suspect that Sepher may also have been killed by using this drug because I recieved my initial batch of Diphenidine at the same time that he died & we were both in the same research group at the time, working for a well-known vendor.

For Kennys problem, Knocks & Sephers passing to be blamed all on the same batch is a stretch, imo

I think the drug itself is a danger to public health & vendors should reconsider it's distribution.
 
Actually yes I take that back I don't know enough about diphenidine to be able to say that.
 
I fear that the evidence against this drug is mounting. Toxic by-products notwithstanding, Diphenidine is implicated in at least one fatality at BL, in one serious hospitalisation (Kenny). I have no evidence that Sepher used the drug, only a supposition based on the timing & my own reciept of this drug back in it's early days.
 
If I have got it right this wanker vendor has sold products that have put 4 bluelighters in hospital.
