[Mega] Tryptophan and Dark Chocolate , 'e-diet'

^ya you can eat protein all day and it wont benefit you without adequate Carb intake. I waited 6 months to roll recently and was on a high protein diet and the roll was terrible. Ate more carbs the following week and rolled much harder on the same exact pills (same batch, used. "Leftovers" from the previous roll. There's no other explanation besides the carbs. I hear a lot about high protein for body building and rolling recovery but you rarely hear about how important the carbs are to the equation. The ideal diet consists of a minimum 50% carbohydrates with the other 50% a mix of mostly omega 6 and omega 3 fats (nuts/avocado & flax seed) and protein. The protein level will depend on how much strength training one does.

A good rule of thumb for calories is protein:4 Carb:4 fat:9
 
i swear by bananas and omega 3, among other healthy stuff, used to be heavy on the protein and carbs when i was training, but bananas and omega 3 two seem to have an impact on everything. dunno what else is in bananas apart from all the potassium and good stuff mentioned, but i swear sometimes they make me feel a bit tingly, among excellent energy. also any of you read about the health benefits of beetroot? ive been eating a fuck load of beetroot recently, check this out,

As for the bananas thing, try this ColtDan : 2 bananas + 3/4 pint full fat milk + 2inches of oats (In a pint glass) blended Very well
 
I think that eating dark chocolate / cocoa products on the day of taking mdma could be more neurotoxic though, so i wouldn't really advise it,
However
I have always been doing it and i dont seem to have suffered any side effects, but everyone is different so someone out there could be susceptible to the damage, hence this warning.

I've tried the dark chocolate experiment. Made capsules of pure cocoa, pre-loaded several grams a day and also the day of roll. Had a great roll, but replicated the experiment after a three month break without the cocoa and it was every bit as good. Hence, for us it did not appear to be a significant variable.

EDIT: I really don't think I consumed enough to give this experiment a fair shake. We will be trying it again and will post our results!

just a thought would adding alcohol to the mix effect the roll in anyway when having been on dark chocolate before? I ask this as you mentioned about the anxiety on it and alcohol usually helps with that.

Interesting thread, glad i stumbled upon this as Im planning a big sesh soon. I got some white snowflake pills stashed from a while back plus some nice acid, which leads to my next question.

Has anyone tried lsd & dark chocolate combo? Be interesting to see if it intensifies lsd buzz too.

I was just thinking about a story i read of that today, and wondering how much influence that could have on your trip.

I don't know about the alcohol sitation, because ive never done the combo since.
 
Well I'll be trying it for myself in a couple of months time Im gonna take 2 tabs of acid about 4 hours after my first pill and I'll be eating dark chocolate every day for a week leading up to that night and a little bit on the day too. I'll write back here let you know how it went. Won't be until mid may tho so anyone else who's tried this could share their story would be great
 
I Don't think that eating dark chocolate on the day, or the day before is a good idea really,
It don't seem to matter, but waiting all that length of time (ive never waited 60 days+ before)
eating the diet (Including dark chocolate) exercising and sunlight as well as pure abstinence from alcohol (i think its not that great anyway)

i really had a great night. Ive also been taking Vitamin C daily as well as MSM and i can confirm that neither of them seem to dull the experience whatsover, and i am feeling quite good in myself having taken 100mg, i could not stop smiling my jaw is really aching lol.
That was amazing. It really was.
 
im going to give the dark chocolate a go. i have been eating healthier any ways i.e spinach salads, eggs, turkey, salmon, fruits and what not. I figure the healthy eating plus doing the dark chocolate and having a 8 month break, i should roll balls and then some with my two yellow + 's
 
Im almost afraid my next roll will be too strong LOL

So I think Im going to be using Sam's diet, without the chocolate. Hopefully Ill just have the extra SERT I need to keep my comedown nice and easy
lol that is what i was thinking too.... cuz from the reports from late last year the yellow + 's were really good
 
I went to a rave the other night, planned on going sober with my friends all rolling. They said i could have a couple dabs from them, and remembering this thread went in my cabinet and ate a bar of dark chocolate (2 hours before the rave). I take a shot or 2 of vodka before i go in just to loosen up in case i wasnt gonna feel the roll, but i end up taking about .1-.2 total from my friends, whereas usually i take around .4 total. I have to say I have never rolled harder. As soon as it hit me I had to run to the bathroom and puke it was so overwhelming. I felt fine after i booted, but dark chocolate DEFINITELY increases the roll A LOT. I took half as much as usual and rolled twice as hard...def gonna be a new way to conserve and have a better time, thanks Sam.

Dont eat it so close to you roll, if not you are more likely to puke.

You don't even have to eat it on the same day really, i used to do that, but i found the coming up anxiety Super-enhanced, however drugs have never ever made me sick, nor alcohol, so you probably had a rough comeup and was sick.

As i posted a page back, i didnt eat any on the day of, or the day before, i just ate like 20g of it a day throughout my 63 day wait.
 
dark chocolate 100% intensifies the roll, took what i normally took after a week of probably 40g of dark chocolate a day and rolled at least twice as hard, dont eat it the day before also, had the WORST anxiety on the come up but a great time, less is more.
 
this post has got me excited lol. Next time i roll it will be 8 months since the last time i rolled. It will be 4 months of doing this dark chocolate thing , 6 months of eating healthier then normal. ( lots of spinach salads, salmon, whole grains and etc) exersising alot moar and just in general have been feeling really good lately. This and yellow + mints will be very interesting =D
