[MEGA] Home-made/repaired pipes, bongs and vapes.

how would it crack the stem? If you're careful with your bong it should be fine. I like my ash catcher, it keeps my perc and the rest of my bong nice and clean
 
thats good man im just saying dont store the ash catcher in it when not in use :D just some advice from previous experience.
 
Well, not all the ones that are home made are good. They need to be worked on with precision if they want to be good quality homemade
 
i perfer to use a non painted metal socket or a piece of metal plumbing found at your local home depot or lowes. just go there and get creative....man you could buy a beautiful bowl from there for about *snip* just in plumbing parts man its insane :) but really man dont use plastic or any funky things man just stick to glass or non painted metals. :D

Dude. They sell like *cheap* glass bowls at every other gas station nowadays. Just find the store run by a middle-eastern guy, and likely they'll have a display with a few cheap glass pipes and a few scales and shit. No need for any of this homemade BS anymore

edit: also, in regards to the above post: we can't discuss prices of things that are legal, i.e. bowls and hardware from Lowe's? I wasn't aware that that could be considered sourcing, considering it's, well... legal.

Why do you need to discuss the price of anything? The mod team has decided that the easiest way of doing things is to just have a blanket ban on prices. The nature of the forum means that even legal items are likely to be talked about in a way that relates to using them illegally. Drug paraphenalia is not legal everywhere, and this is a global website. It also leads to pointless discussion ("oh you're paying too much for that I could get it way cheaper") that we don't really want. There is no harm reduction value in discussing specific prices, you can just say "cheap", "expensive", "a couple of quid" or whatever. PM me if you'd like to discuss it further.
 
It's "padawan". In case my avatar wasn't enough of a clue, I take these things seriously.

I agree with blaze here; at the end of the day, most nice pipes are made in someone's home. If you have the skills to make yourself a nice pipe, more power to you.

The piece i made, 20 mins on my dinner break, i prefer it because its made of stainless steel, so wont rust, wont EVER break and will be around for a LONG time :)
i made the the bowl out of a 20mm nut and the thread holds a gauze perfect! i love being a welder at times!! :p
 
I made a zillion plastic/metal/glass pipes b4 I learned to blow glass.. stay away from copper bowls.. aluminium don't taste great but it dosen't cause alzeimers..
 
It only costs a couple grand to get setup blowing glass.. prolly like 1/10 of what any average junkie spends on weed/H/coke/E whatever a year..

If you really wanna make your own pipes start blowing glass..

the first time I ever got high I smoked out of a home made waterfall. I have a nice glass bong now but I like crafting a gb from time to time because imo it's a slightly different high...a stronger more intense rush..
