[MEGA] Cannabis Strain discussion thread

Like sh0ck3r said, if it's grown well it's awesome herb. However are you sure that what you're getting is really White Widow? If you can, see if you can have a smoke of it before you [buy in quantity]... white widow should be really head-trippy, but (in my experience) doesn't cause nearly as much paranoia as other head-trippy strains. Unless you smoke too much of it.

....If you grow, you can clearly see major differences between strains......

as for my favorite strains:
The Real McCoy - smoked this in amsterdam and it was spicy and sweet...the sweet and sour chicken of the cannabis world...it looked like it was brushed with gold dust.
silver haze ~ crazy strong and masterful psychadelic high
bubblegum ~ wonderful bubblegum flavor
white rhino ~ smooth with a great quazi bubblegum flavor and tremendous body stone
blueberry haze ~ blueberry x haze, nuff said.
SAGE ~ from the strictly conniseur file, this one has a unique taste...very fragrant.

Wow!!! You are smart...You not only tell the whole forum that you grow, but you claim to be able to differentiate between the high given by all these types of strains. A 'masterful psychadelic high' - are you dipping your weed in Psylocybin or something?

for the most part i think pot strain names are bullshit..

Thank You!!!!!! Now let us never talk about 'strain names' ever again. (Joke) ;)

The success of a plant or crop is NOT (by any means) solely dependant on the quality or strain of seed that it came from. Sure you will have purchased "Supplier A's Skunk #1" (thanks Frizzantik) seeds, but what you do with these has all the bearing on the plants success or quality. It stands to reason that a poorly produced plant from the 'Blueberry' strain could be less potent than a well-cured strain of hydroponic "mutt (cross-bred strains) weed".

The only 'brand-names' I have ever smoked were supposedly Northern Lights and white rhyno. But I doubt that a name counts for shit. It looked exactly the same as NL and WR pics I saw on the net...but it got me no higher than my normal buddha. All the chronic that my friends and I buy is top quality and it never needs to be 'marketed' with a name. I am sure that most other Aussie's are in my boat.

"Is there a particular way to turn regular haze plants
purple? "

No, heheh. But why the hell would you want to do that anyway???

i thought that if you increased the nitrogen levels, that you automatically change the colour of your plants? am i wrong here, can anybody explain further, because i always thought that it was done like this.

^^^^YEah your totally right blowmonkey...sorry guys.
I was kinda fucked up that night....Edit job completed.

recommended strain

Thought I'd give a recommendation for personal growers. Burmese x Fuckin incredible is some real nice smoke. It is 50/50 indica and sativa. One cone will give you a nice body buzz and head stone which is clear and relaxing with the senses highly increased. There is nothing like growing your own smoke and if you do, put this cross on your to try list. This dude gives it 2 thumbs up

peace out asb

Whats the best bud you have smoked locally... from your local farmers or growers

The best bud ive smoked from my local area would have to be some white rhino aww it made my mouth water and my ears pop

the best bud ive ever smoked was a little bowl that i pinched out of my dads stash, i have no idea what it was but i couldnt feel anything around me, when i closed my eyes i felt like i was just floating in space, it was some crazy shit

My personal favorites were some unnamed kind out of texas(absolutely beautiful), white rhino, deisel, Haze, and, my favorite, Northern Lights. It was the deepest lightest high with couchlock like opium and a floating head trip. Amazing stuff pulled apart like cotton with huge deep deep red hairs.

i know the origin of my buds =]. ive had master kush, og, kush, bubba kush, kavorkian, dutch passion mazar, amsterdam big buds, and some powerplant, emphezema, lemon kush, and other stuff my pothead brain doesnt remember

What are Sour Diesel and Pineapple Mist?

I have been a recreational smoker for about 10 years. A friend just called and said that his new dealer has Sour Diesel and Pineapple Mist for sale. Never heard of this in relation to pot. Any help would be great. Thanks.

How will it affect me differently than regular old pot does? Hallucinations? Tiredness, etc? Thanks.

kali mist...

can anyone describe their experiences with kali mist (aka special k...but not ketamine ;)) or other experiences with highly sativa-dominant strains like it....

Black Russian- Purple as it gets. Astetics and UP racy, trippy, haze-like sativa stone.

Afghan #1-Standard for breeding. Classic among Indicas.

Avalanche-BC Bud, good yielder, still "snow" covered...

Herijuana-Medical, fastest finish, Puts the rest to shame, Opium like high...

These are some of my favorite "Local Strains"...

some of my favorite strains...

ak-47
grey mist
greyberry (grey mist x blueberry)
bubblegum and double bubble
blueberry
bubbleberry
shiva shanti
strawberry x cough
pretty much any haze (i've tried silver, original and purple)
nyc diesel
orange krush
northern lights x haze
etc

i really love those berry strains. all organically grown of course ;)

Has anyone tried the new BC(British Columbia) KB?

I have my shipment comming in, in a few days and I was just wondering if anyone has tried it yet and give me some adjectives on it?

Questions about seeds/strains

I have a friend who is looking into buying some seeds and is wondering about which strains tend to have the highest yield. They tend to rate them on the sites as 450+ grams per sq. meter. Does this mean floor space? He looks forward to hearing comments.
