[MEGA] Cannabis Strain discussion thread

"What's everyones favorite pure Sativa strain?"

The original Haze strain is awesome. Luckily a coffeeshop near my home still sells it. And growing it for yourself is probably not a good idea unless your an experienced grower. They are pretty demanding plants.
 
purple haze

No doubt many people on this forum have sampled this particular strain of cannibis many times i know i have, what puzzles me is why it seems impossible to purchase the seeds of this strain?
I know of other purple varieties of cannabis such as purple power but these look taste and act differently to purple haze.
I believe it should be very dark purple almost black and look weedy with fat hairs comming off the buds is this correct? Is there a particular way to turn regular haze plants purple?, I have been told they turn purple due to a lack of calcium
 
ive only ever had purple haze once, and it was kinda funny looking... i mean, you could still tell it was nug, but it was really dark and purple and like... the hairs were kinda a lighter than the nug purple...the crystals were huge *compaired to normal pot* i mean, i could see a bunch really catching my eye they were so big.... there were no seeds in the bag, and i asked the guy i got it from about seeds, and thus, no luck..... if you havent already, try searching online for it.... the power of google is amazing
 
pottedmeat, hydro is nothing special, organic is better, ask any grower. hydro is used to get huge yields in a short period of time. organic is what growers grow for their personal stash.

Also, OG is a place where real breeders go to discuss their work. You can go to OG and find some of the best strains in the world being grown by some of the best growers in the world. you can even obtain seeds from them. I would actually trust an OG breeder over a seedbank. At least that way i can see thousands of pictures and threads devoted to specific genetic strain that i am buying, not a description and a picture of a plant grown under 10 1k lights in hydro with soo many ferts that the plant is unfit to smoke (which, if you didnt already know, is the way that all those plants in the pics in seedbank catalogs are grown)
 
i forgot my point, my favorite strain - kali myst - grown organic under 1k, in temps. ranging from 68-78. main cola is my favorite part.

yeah, imo purple haze is the only purple weed that is actually worth the money.. other strains for example purple power are plain filthy. i don't get high, i don't get stoned, the only thing i get is a bad taste in my mouth and an angry look on my face:X

i'm sorry you can't find any seeds but i don't think it could be that hard to find them, look on google, overgrow, hell i don't know, if i can find them so can you, good luck on it!!:)
 
i know its weed, hence y i put it in this forum in this thread. is it good shit? price(if thats allowed)? ive heard its not down here where i live so much, but due to certain opportunities it could come down. mostly up north from what i heard. im in FL BTW
 
no, price discussion is not allowed, wait a while, frizzantik is making a mega price thread. from what i've heard, hawaiian weed is pretty good, but hawaiian dro, that sounds like somebody is trying to give their weed a nice name, but i dunno, could be anything i guess. just ask for a tester joint or something so you can make sure you're going to get good shit. just go for it!!:)
 
the guy could have the name slightly off, its from a guy whos talking to some ppl, supposedly really good shit, i just wanted to make sure before i invested too much

There is a "Maui" strain that is hrdro. From what I understand, not quite the same as the old Maui, but damn sure will mess your ass up.%)

But yeah, with the strains.

I would say the most potent would be Northern Lights. Through a bong, if you haven't smoked NL in a while, can be too much for me. But we only get a chance to get this every now and then. Not often so we smoke it slowly and still get high as hell!

I really liked a "bubblegum" strain my friend was growing last year. It did smell like bubblegum when it was fresh, but it also had this weird citric smell when it was dried. No idea what the strain was actually called, but it was very potent, and it was not hydro. It was grown outdoors.

if it's grown right it's bomb

but just cuz some weed is a certain strain doesn't at all ensure it will be good stuff, the cultivation of it makes a bigger difference
