[MEGA] Cannabis Strain discussion thread

I do not want to start a flamewar or debate on the quality of seeds from different suppliers - in fact I expect a mod to come along and edit that link to Emery's site - but I know a lot of people no longer do business with him for a variety of reasons.

If you want reasonably priced seeds and want to be 100% sure they are what you paid for - go to Overgrow.com and talk to some people. A few people actually making a living selling seeds post there in their free time - I am not going to make any plugs but I have met one of them in person and would trust anything he sold me.

Trust is where it's at in the seed game :)

yeah i've heard all those reasons and frankly they are bullshit. but im not here to start a war either.

go to cannabisculture.com and look on the forums there for the truth.

im not coming on here to start anything but dont pretend to have no adjenda while ripping a man that has done more for the cause of cannabis legalization than most.

PS you can take it from me, the seeds on emerys site are exactly what you ask for.
 
Well, let's just end this by agreeing to disagree, because I saw the threads with the threats and all that you probably read too - so I guess it just depends on what you find acceptable behaviour - it certainly differs from person to person.

i dont know what the genesis of the feud is, but whatever it is, it is stupid. we all want the same things so we should find a way to work together to build eachother up, not tare eachother down. marc is fighting for what we all want, so i support him in those efforts. marc has opened up free heroin treatment clinics with ibogane. marc ran for mayor of vancouver to push the cannabis adjenda. marc has put up the money for the lawyers in the supreme court challange in canada. marc rescued several americans from cannabis persecution by the feds including loretta lynn and steve & michelle cubby....

honestly im not really emotionally invested in this either way so im not going to bicker about this, but those are facts as i know them (and reasons why i support marc).
 
I totally support and appreciate all that Marc has done for "the movement" - I just have my doubts about him because of some posts I have seen him make - but I totally agree he should be applauded for the time and money he has put into legalization campaigns in the past.

ITs all about the northern lights.

Northern lights was the best shit ever. I felt like running 20 miles. I wasnt hungry of lathargic, just high. It was amazing. Pretty penny though.
 
all i know is vancouver is a model for all of north america as far as cannabis and drug acceptance goes, and marc has a lot to do with that.
 
i don't know if i've ever smoked a pure sativa strain. i only guess at the sativa /indica ratio by inspecting the buds and feeling the high. i wish i knew where to get pure sativa strains.
 
most haze strains are sativas or mostly sativas....the only way to be sure for yourself tho is to grow it! :)
 
major differences between strains show when they grow,
and how they smoke, taste,type of high.
check overgrow strainbase for good info. they all differ in someway for those who know what to look out for.
 
White Widow - one of the few strong herbs that lets me have a fluid conversation

Northern Lights - my favorite body high, probably my overall favorite

Haze - its trippy

a lot of you mentioned Blueberry as a favorite... but I guess these days I prefer an herb with gentler effects instead of delivering an ass-kicking like Blueberry tends to
