I am also prescribed this, I take a SHITLOAD at a time, try it with the 800mg neurontin and 2 mg Xanax, and WOW!!! Oh shit, this thread is old......so you say its Schedule IV? I just dont get why??

I have a script for this now. It's schedule V. I tried taking about 400mg, and I felt like shit. Totally out of it. Didn't feel anything like the poster says it does. Maybe just me, but I won't be doing more than indicated anymore.

Well the OP was right. I really enjoy this stuff and so do alot of other people. My sister takes it for fibromyalgia. It is the first drug that worked on it....even the percs didn't help as much, she says.

A miracle drug.

I suffer from neuropathy and was prescribed Lyrica 75 mg twice a day amongst other meds, including opiates. The after taking the Lyrica for about 6 weeks, I asked my Dr. to remove the drug from the regimen. I was not feeling any effects other than weight gain. Unfortunately, my PM Dr. claimed several of his patients reported weight gain. I put on almost 20 lbs within 6weeks! Yet, I did not experience any increase in hunger, it was water retention.

To sum it all, I did not experience any good results. I was then switched to Neurontin and have achieved positive results. Every one's body is different and therefore repond differently to medication.
