London 2012 - The Olympics !!!

It's that game show isn't it? The strangely out of date one where Philip Schofield has to act as though a visibly shaky perspex box is some kind of malevolent artificial intelligence which likes setting human beings banal tasks. Feels like a bonus round from the Crystal Maze, except that it's half an hour long.

Who?
What?

Get a life spade. Jeezus.

Mo Farah, Olympic gold medallist.
The Cube, television show presented by Phillip Schofield that Mo Farah entered for chairty last week and was the first person ever to beat the game.

Get some knowledge you clueless cunt.

Just watching the uneven bars and I know it's childish but I gotta say this, 'Will Tweddle get a medal?' =D

Glad to see everyone's so happy with Murray's gold medal winning trouncing of Federer! You lot must love the canny Scot <3

No one saw this one coming. I reckon they have probably just gone to see the sights im sure they'll be back soon.

Seven Cameroonian athletes have absconded while in Britain for the Olympics, officials say.

The seven, including five boxers, are suspected of having decided to stay in Europe for economic reasons, Reuters news agency reports.

A reserve goalkeeper for the women's soccer team, Drusille Ngako, was the first to disappear, the agency quoted Cameroon's Olympic mission as saying.

In June, an Ethiopian torchbearer, Natnael Yemane, 15, also disappeared.

He went missing from a hotel in Nottingham.

"What began as rumour has finally turned out to be true," Team Cameroon mission head David Ojong said, in a letter sent to the Cameroonian sports ministry.

"Seven Cameroonian athletes who participated at the 2012 London Olympic Games have disappeared from the Olympic Village."

"A doping test?!"

I wanted to say congratulations to a lad from my town.
Louis Smith won a Silver medal on the pommel horse in gymnastics.
Well done lad all your hard work, dedication and early mornings paid off for you.
I wish I could have half of your your dedication and determination.

Feel very lucky to have had 3 lots of tickets for athletics, 1 for beach volleyball and about 9 for football including the final :D

Great fun watching peoples reactions as I pass them mumbling 'hash' while munching on a stash of tescos finest brownies, Actually had someone approach me thinking I was serious 8)

Last night my husband said, 'I didn't think I could ever get bored of watching women running about in their pants'.

However, he is now bored of the Olympics.

He doesn't like sport.

I've decided that if I had to take up an Olympic sport, apart from the obvious football, tennis etc, I'd go for the K1 kayak sprint. I've tried it before and it was easier than cycling and running.

The one I'd least like to do is the 10km open water swim. They call it the piranha race. It's incredibly hard, they can't see where they're going, they get kicked and elbowed by the other swimmers and Kerri Anne Payne said they have to contend with all sorts in the water including jellyfish, sharks and even floating dead dogs in China
