KY, Louisville - 02.26.05 Saturday - Deep Blue 2 yr anniversary w/ Felix Da Housecat

ok so its now my turn to say something

club x was a fucking crackhouse! myself i did get my very first set at club x, but that was back when, when it very first opened, before it was a crack house. i am not gonna ruffle your alls panties and tell you that you all were a bunch of dumbass's for going there, but there were always other ways to get involed into the scene back in the day, wether it be club shithole, the alkaline events, evolotion events, sanctum sound aka another crackhead thing, or sparks. the place i choose to get involed with was traveling to indy. back in the day i made indy my second home, do to the fact that the scene here completely died out.

now i know that some of the kids here in louisville did get there start at club x, and most of them now think the same as me....why the fuck did we ever go to that place. it takes time to grow up and realize what dumb mistakes you are doing. see with age comes intellingence, and with age you learn from your mistakes. look at it this way some people need to grow up still and with time that will come, but for right now some people just need to go to a party sobber and watch the people that are all cracked out and then you will realize what a dumbass some of these people look like.

now to ryans post about deep blue's djs about being mediocre. ryan has yet gotten to hear that much stuff from the deep blue camp yet, since most of our cd's have not been uploaded to the site yet, but from me guessing from it when he does he will be impressed. don't give the man such a hard time, and ryan cid is a good guy but has yet to learn to stay away from those crackhouses.

ok so i have lost myself now and don't feel like reading my shit to continue on. sorry if i offended anyone.

nate, i swear i introduced myself to you, but after that wacky ride with neosporin my was kinda split (jon, rashid says hi).

hopefully you got the flyers i left for you? if you didnt, i am extremely sorry.

glad to see l'ville on a 2yr come up!

nothing better then leaving and driving thru the park to free the mind. you better tell rashid to drag his ass to your party, along with bradin. hell tell all of that old crew they better be there or i will shit on all of there faces.

i cant speak for your skill but im sure its mediocre as fuck if you spun at club x or axis or what ever you call a violation of a crack house law in louisville....

Some ex-club x dj's have now shown that they are nothing but dj's of the past, while others have used their skills they might have picked up there to further their djing career. To generalize and say that everyone that dj'ed at club x has mediocre skill is just a very ignorant statement. I can't speak personally of vicious's skills, but along with all the other people you have pissed off on here I know 2 very good dj's that did happen to start at club x. Having been an attendee of club x, I know what the music sounded like, and yes at times it was a bunch of 8(, but everyone has to start somewhere. It has been almost a year since club x closed and I guarantee their skills have improved a ten fold.

Back to stuff that really matters this party rocked! I am still in the process of recovering. I just got pictures back today and they are WILD!! I haven't had this much fun since I learned to snowboard - that is hard to top!

~Decibel - you better holler at us when you come into town or i will stab you!! j/k %)

whoa...

i said deep blue DOESNT (THAT IS DOES NOT) have mediocre dj's... deep blue holds the talent pool of lville in my opinion... i said HE is probably mediocre as fuck (i mean he spins trance come on!)... mediocre is a compliment from me to him... he is more likely a horribly shitty fucking dj...

and a hard trance dj fro club x spells S_H_I_T ... i hate kandy kids... sorry... i always will no one will change my opinion... and i like publicly bullying them and consider it my right.... but i wasnt rippin on the blue... i was rippin on a candy kid and a crack house...
i went to club x once for a half hour like 2 years ago... and anyone who regularrly went there sucks... and any one who spun hard trance there for 4 years... god i dont have to know them to hate on them...

for further reitteration... we all have dirty pasts... but to be in club x for 4 years, you obviously didnt learn much...

i was a purple underground kid for a little bit before it shut down... so i understand hanging out in a raved out crack house cane be fun... im sure very few remember the purple underground cause it closed in 00... but for those who do... ya know club x prally didnt have shit on it as far as a deep drug bin with dirty underagers everywhere..

just to say it again...i had a blast... deep blue and there talent roll very propper... and im thinking about blowing klute off for some breaks cause id rather kick it with you kids then go all the fucking way to cleveland... YOU DOWN FOR THAT GEEK?

wow!!! I dont know where to start.. From a production standpoint to an artist standpoint to a party kid standpoint.... Everything could not have been better. ABSOLUTELY every dj was on point and were killing it. Its is so great to be part of this city. It was awesome to see everyone out... Whats up with the hotties coming out of hte walls for this one... everytime i turned around i was talking to another cutie ha ha...

Props to the heads from other cities coming out too.... Indi, st louis, cincy, columbus, lexington, nashville.. they were all repped and repped strong....

last and not least,my favorite act of the night definitely had to been the girl with the black choker on that was hanging with jujubee.. er wait ha ha Im too old for that, so second best was dizzy, he came correct with those funky san fran sounds...

Thanks mainly to the people shaking their asses... without you, production and entertainers are nothing!!!

ps. I dont know what happened to club x cause i lived in dallas and KC but around 98 and 99 when untranselateable, late night louisville, evolution and garage productions were doing shows... some of the most talented artists in the world played in that club from Richie hawtin to dieselboy. Pretty much all talent in the midwest played in that club over a span of a year or two...

hahahahahaha ryan brought up the underground. hehehe thats where it all mainly kicked off for me as a dj.

gavin what are you talking about damien never played at club x, but richie he played only one track.

he he oh yeah.. man that was a looong time ago ha ha.... Tim did d boy at tinkers behind club x.. and well yeah I guess richie didnt get to play did he... the venues all roll together in those days.. I know i put, odi, ryan rushing, a tak, nitro, .com in there... John did two of his wicked parties there that were really big.. I pretty much had sparks lockt because of the residencies so thats where i did all of my larger shows.. I forget who played where.. ha ha oh well.. point being. Club x wasnt a crack house in the beginning... -b

travel at your own risk

Ahhh...i remember Sparks and Club X back in 98, 99, 00..... fun times.

BTW: Neosporin... I found a pic of you at Sparks holding a big road sign that was supposed to say "Travel at your own risk" but the "T" and the "l" on "travel" are peeled off so it says "rave at your own risk" ...haha... I think it was from a Hometown Heros party. I also have one of you at Sparks the night Richard Humpty Vision played there because the party got shut down at that old factory and pretty much moved over to sparks. It was Technosaurus 4, i think. Anyway, i'll send them to you if you email me or something. ;-)~

Oh yeah, in case you don't know me from my BL nic. This is Angie (Heathers friend) and i'm still surprised as hell that you remembered me. Was your ass sore on Sunday?? Mine wasn't, I was kinda disappointed..... wrong setting for that I think ;-)~ Haha j/k......... or am I?
