It seems that people around the world have caught onto how profitable anime and/or idea's originating from anime can be. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before or not...and well I'm too lazy to search...
Firstly, Warner Bros. will be teaming up Blade director Stephen Norrington for a live action re-make of Akira. Um... unless this is filmed in Japan with Japanese actors then it ain't even close to Akira - I smell a botched job coming to the screens!
