i don't think it's particularly classy to speak for a dead man - especially in an attempt to score cheap points - but, as somebody who spoke about bluelight at great length with alan when he was alive, i'm pretty comfortable with my position and his opinion of me.

Then when I have time I'll dig up Alan's post which specifically states his views against anything that turns BL into a corporate entity. (Edit, because I can't find the exact post, it's not where I thought it was and tbh I can't be fucked with this anymore, I have a life to live). There is a quote from Alan that implies he is against making BL a corporate identity in the EADD split thread but its not the one I'm thinking of. What he says in that thread is if you are going to do it, do it properly with a Board of Directors, with the obvious implication he is against this though.

And do we have a Board of Directors? No. We have people with silly titles under their name who would be laughed at in the real world for acting as such.

SHM I have the utmost respect for you and really enjoy our chats - I find it a bit frustrating when people are putting more effort into this thread about how 'EADD is dying' than they are posting in the section.

I know that the full Evey thing left a very bad taste with people (myself included) but it happened, it has been addressed and we have all learned something from it.

the last couple of years have been challenging to the forum. during the upheaval, i believe things were made worse by those who chose to inflame and exacerbate an already disruptive situation.

it's been a few months now since evey was banned and there are some who seem unable to let it go and move on. i think, if you are one of those people who can't find a way to move on and doggedly want to continue to stoke that fire and point fingers, then leaving is probably for the best.

Appreciate this is totally off topic but I'd rather have a dose of thrush than post it in the lounge... Do you get asked for blood donations? Yes USA is big Scotland not so much but I get asked a lot, they'd take blood monthly if they could. I carry a gold card notifying my O- status and organ donation but basically get hounded if I've not donated for 3 months. Fair enough I get tunnocks tea cakes afterwards others get custard creams! Just wondered how it works over there.

I also gave birth to yellow babies lol! What a gossip that caused haha.


Back on topic: it's going to take some longer than others to get over that disruptive period. It's had an awful impact here which is a tight knit community. No one person is to blame, it happened, we tried like many other forums before us with the same result. It would be good to move on but when there's other online places we can be goaded I appreciate it's not easy.

Let's spend a second thinking about what it's like in her world. Then move on.

Now stop talking about "it" we have a million better things to chat about. And let's never forget we are part of MAPS let's have respect and pride about that relationship with BL. For MAPS gives authenticity, a platform for research and credentials to bl.

i need to revisit the issue. for most of my life, i have donated blood - i think it's important and it's especially important for me as a universal donor.

but, a while ago when i lived in san francisco, i was told that, because i had lived in the u.k. during at least one foot and mouth outbreak, i could not donate. this is a good reminder for me to check again whether i can donate.

Yeah that was me save my number. Meh I always enjoyed many other forums and now I can with this sweet new title. This TN vs FL game should be pretty good. Also I'm the director of comm over at r/Bluelight so I'm gonna concentrate on that.

Reminds me I need to hit the vaping forum and livin it up a bit
