Ignorant myths that users spread as truth...

Having done heroin ketamine shrooms and ecstasy at the same time I should scare people I don't think should roll off with a brief explanation of the experience.

Except that was actually incredible. perhaps not.

dear lord high thoughts

I was rolling, and me being a bullshit detector, offered him to punch me in the back as I tensed up... He, believing his rumor to be true, declined and said he wasnt going to be responsible for manslaughter XD

Oh and he was saying that mdma is twice as neurotoxic as meth :p... I feel sorry for some people lol

Ive seen a 5-stack. It was a huge pill so obviously it was bomb. The dye came off everywhere and it makes you trip, so obviously it was acid based. :| lol

"I bought a pill that was acid based, but I didn't want to do acid, so now I'm all pissed"
Something along those lines from a dude at a rave that I was talking to outside. I loled

E eating a huge hole in your brain after one use. I was told that by my friend as a freshman in high school and it scared me from trying the drug for a while.

"if you don't get a hangover/comedown, it's pure" or "if you get a hangover/comedown, it's NOT pure"
SO many ppl believe this!!!

I think the most extreme rumor about Ecstacy or Molly is that people believe that, since it's a drug the hypes you up (or at least keeps you awake) that it turns you into a monster like would coke, speed, crack, crystal meth and you're liable to be dangerous to others.

I've heard this twice before... people saying that people on Ecstacy are dangerous and I straight up laughed in their faces before explaining to them what ecstacy does to your serotonin.

I challenge ANYONE here to take ecstacy or MDMA (and only that!) and want to hurt anyone... or anything... It's impossible. It's impossible to feel rage. Even being annoyed is hard to accomplish!

^So true. When I'm rolling, I will immediately feel like a bad person if I do so much as accidentally bump into someone, which leads to apologizing profusely.

Some stuff that I've actually heard:

- "Don't sit on the speakers when you roll. Your lungs will collapse."

Small kernel of truth to this one, though not directly related to rolling. Strong waves of low-frequency bass, especially at close proximity can cause Pneumothorax (collapsed lung). Apparently the lungs reverberate on similar frequencies. Not a great source but I was also told this by a respiratory therapist when I had a pneumothorax a few years ago. Part of it was attributed to me playing bass in a band and being close to the amp all the time.

Anyway, on topic.
I once heard a kid talking about a pill that he was pretty sure had a 'coke base but had also been dipped in acid'. . .
