Ignorant myths that users spread as truth...

Before my first roll I told myself to instantly forget everything I 'thought' I knew about E. Then I hit Erowid and BlueLight hard. Now I know more than most people, and the CORRECT information.
 
It's amazing what a little research and education can do for you.
I used to think I knew what I was talking about with MDMA, but I really didn't. I've believed and event said a few of these lines myself! Thankfully, I now know better.

It's so frustrating when I hear people saying things like this and I'll chime in to correct them. They either a) don't take me seriously because since I'm knowledgable about the substance, I'm instantly a druggie... and everyone KNOWS druggies are idiots (regardless of the fact that I'm in my university's premed program, and on academic scholarship...) OR b) say I'm wrong because they "know for sure" what they've heard and what they're talking about... Regardless of whether they have actually taken MDMA before.

And then there's the people that have used it, have their information all wrong (aka: h-bomb believers, people who think they rolled for 4 days straight), but insist that they are right. Stubborn assholes... I just almost won't even try to argue with these types anymore. It hurts my head!

I am having this issue with a serious girlfriend of mine right now. We've been together for a year. She's never taken MDMA but and she knows I do and has been ok with it (I have been with her while rolling 4 times, and actually met her while rolling). Out if nowhere, she's against it now. She says her friend told her about someone dying from it, and she doesn't like to talk about it (i.e. be educated). I just wish she could open her eyes.

I suppose you could go with the "...if it's so bad, then how is it that I'm a-okay" sort of dialogue.... Either way, that's a tricky situation.

If people have already closed their mind to a topic, it's pretty hard to force it back open.
 
Wait I thought shit like the marquis and the merck test actually put on it if it has stuff like speed and dxm, etc so I think the meth part is true.

Also I wonder what would happen if you actually DO dip a roll in acid lmao. Like if you do it seriously yourself or see someone doing that process if it affects you or not which I doubt?
 
Being in a dumb ass part of california, I feel like I've heard ALL of this shit.

Where does half of it come from anyways?

Especially the legally insane/ 5= manslaughter one?
Maybe some kid heard it from his uncle who's the public da or something and just spread it? lol
 
'Dipped in Acid' is another one that makes me cringe when I hear people say it.

a few days ago i actually watched someone dip my pills in acid and then i took them and they were defiantly acid. but its the only time i have seen this done. and my pills started dissolving so we had to dry them. its very impractical.
 
Everyone knows ecstasy makes your brain bleed. My friends cousin does it all the time and he went to the hospital because his brain was dehydrated and swollen.
All pressed pills are cut with meth, that's why they call it a thizzle.

People don't know what's up.

- "Woah I feel trippy, these must have a lot of mescaline in them"

- "E puts holes in your brain"

- "E drains your spinal fluid"

- "I'm fucked up so I MUST be rolling! They're good pills"

- "MDMA is just the liquid form of E pills" <-- that one floored me.

- "These are quad stacks, they're fire."
 
Here is some quotes i heard over the years said to me.

1. "Black people are affected differently by Ecstasy" -Some drunk guy who just lost his girlfriend
(I thought that was hilarious and he was joking when i first heard it until the guy left after he found out I took a pill at that party.)

2. "Dont drive on Ecstasy, Red light becomes blue in some cases" -Random kid at my friends house

3. "You know doing that s**t makes your balls shrink, its like steroids" -Father of stoner

4. "If you pay less then $10 for a pill, anywhere, is guaranteed to be s**t." -My old dealer
(Proven weeks later to be false that bas**d was overcharging me for months)

5. "Triple stacked means its triple the pill, for $25 I got a deal!" -Friend (Lol..)

6. "Do not take ANY pictures during you roll, you will regret them later" - Best friend at the time
(Actually thats pretty true, thank god no one is on Myspace anymore XD)
 
"Eminem said it, it must really drain all your spinal fluid"

"That pill has heroin in it"
"You'll never be happy again"
"Sex will never feel good again!!!"

ummmm yeah wrong it wasnt water that killed her but GHB aka "G" knowing or not she drank out a water bottler containg it and overdosed. but i agree with your statement about the media throwing shit on the drug when 99% of the time it isnt even the drug that killed the person but just the person own dumb self.

drinking orange juice always blows me and my friends up, so in a way it does increase your roll, if only for the short time that you blow up. not saying it makes the pill more powerful or whatever but it does blow you up. and i actually had someone say this to me the other day, a new one to me: dont let your friends go to sleep on X bc they can forget to breathe. for god's sake if you or your friend can sleep after they come down, LET THEM. a lot of people cant sleep. forgetting to breathe is prob sleep apnea, and has nothing to do with the mdma
