I don't get glowsticks

I would never dictate what is appropriate for an individuauls' experience.

Every one has their own thing and commonalities. You enjoy it or you don't. I just get a little miffed when someone passes on the opinion "Well, if you don't see/do this...then you don't get that particular drug".

I get bitter when I can't sleep and semi-apologetic afterwards if I was snappy. To the glowstick loving crew..that veiled apology and advice was for you.

I like glowsticks for when I'm on any drug that dialates your pupils. Having lights on can often be too bright and annoying. Place a couple glowsticks around the room, and then you've got a nice level of ambient light.
 
I enjoy glow sticks. I know how to use them and create art and geometric patterns with the trails. Much like a pshycedelic, colorful patterns are interesting to look at. MDMA over stimulates your senses, enhancing your appreciation for music, patterns and color, and touch. It gives you abundant energy, to dance and move. It seems to give me a large concentration. I can concentrate on moving my body and limbs to music. Mdma is better than anything I know for dancing.
I enjoy MDMA and I enjoy glow sticks on MDMA.

you wont ever understand much of the things that rollers do and enjoy until you do it. E gave me appreciation of techno, trance, etc music.

And lightshows kick ass! The trails are amazing.
 
Personally, at first the glowsticks were part of the visual effects, tracers and weird picture that you could imagine (I once thought that some one was spelling out something to me while they were danging (I'm always see words and read things when I'm rolling)).

Now I just like them to dance with. I feel like i can dance better because it gives me something to do with my hands, and they distract from how silly I might look.

Mainly because they are pretty!!
 
Glowsticks

I'm feeling sketchy about this thread. I just started rolling a few months ago and I got into glowsticking and dancing with them and stuff. A few people told me that glowsticks make the scene look bad. How do my fellow rollers feel about this? Does it really matter? I love it when I'm at a house party! All the attention and congradulations afterwards. Good times.
 
lol. i havent got the coordination to dance properly let alone wave something around while im trying :)
then again im 38 so would probably look like a twat if i did.
 
LOL Glowsticks are pretty cool when your rolling hard and if you can move with them properly then props to you cuz that shit is sick to look at when you hit your peek and you got your fav song going 2! Peace and keep rollin:p 8)
 
Hey cakehead... well I'm 41, 42 in June and I love glowsticking! My wife says were too old to be at afterhour parties, but we really let go when we go.. Been at it for about a year now...

Afterhour parties are the best! I bring them out about 2am. I give shows to my wife and friends.. When I am done, I usually get requests from other people at the party.. I love giving light shows to women.. I trace their body with the sticks which drives them nuts.. me too since I'm rolling my balls off everytime.

I always see huge trails when I roll and glow sticks are the best! Never had a bad time with them. And never any negativity.. but hey that's when and where I go.. other places may be different!!

age is just an age... chill and have fun!

it doesnt look as bad as someone sitting on a chair looking all messed up getting an up close light show from someone sitting on their lap wit photons. Some people might look at u weird, but most people wont think anything of it.
