How to avoid getting caught

^ this is hypothetical obviously, but if it becomes a fourth amendment issue and, say, the judge decides the search which produced the weed was an illegal search which removes the physical evidence from the case, in what sense are you still fucked?

Always keep the drugs in your mouth!! I learned this the hard way.

If you're shooting up in a public restroom and someone starts frantically rattling the doorknob and banging persistently on the door, it's probably the cops!! Flush everything before you leave!! I learned this hard way too.

I guess that applies to using/scoring more than dealing.

1. Don't shoot up at a public restroom.
2. Don't come into class with your hoodie smelling like weed and cocaine.
3. Opticon clear eyes is your best friend.
4. Don't park out and sell drugs at a popular town area/landmark. This applies especially to the suburbs where the cops have nothing better to do.
5. Lock your glove compartment.
6. If you have a piece, always clean it out completely. No resin = no charge.
And just out of pride and dignity, do not except change.

VEHICLES

- Store items in:
a) Locked compartments
b) Locked objects to store things in
c) Trunk

- Keep probable cause to a minimum. This means:
a) Keeping drugs, paraphenalia, or references to them out of sight
b) out of smell
c) out of hearing

- Keep questioning from officers away from you/illegal things
a) Answer an irrelevent question with a question
b) Keep it simple, ie "am I being detained", "why was I stopped", "what do I need to do"
c) Talk to officers alone, away from car

ON FOOT

- Store items:
a) In genital region
b) Well hidden in mouth/swallowed
c) Dropped behind/hidden in environment
d) Well hidden in item carrier if you do not arouse suspicion/probable cause for search

- Keep probable cause for searching, detainment, etc to minimum, as per above

- Be direct with officers, as per above

AT YOUR HOUSE

- Store items/causal references
a) In locked compartments
b) In any compartment, out of sight
c) Out of sight

- Keep any suspicious activity/items out of sight of windows, doors, etc.
a) Supposing an officer searches your yard for a reason, will he see anything?
b) Routinely searching for residents for questioning at doors, will anything be seen?
c) Can anything be smelled, heard, seen from outside your walls, period?

- When talking to officers
a) WALK OUTSIDE DOOR/HOUSE. Then talk to them.
b) Be direct, ask why they wish to talk to you
c) What can you do to resolve issue

That being said, just use some common sense. Keep suspicious activities away from anyone who would take notice and notify authorities.

Get one of these, then keep your laptop in your car.
