Last week I had to laugh at the lengths I am willing to go to save my garden in the horrible drought we are having in California. We are on strict rationing (60 gallons per day per person). I went 4 days taking only sponge baths so that I could water my plants LOL.
I don't think I'll even hit 100 liter/~26 gallon a day if I tried..
How is 60 gallons/ ~228L per person a day rationing?I don't think I'll even hit 100 liter/~26 gallon a day if I tried..
Why couldn't you be comfortable sharing how often you shower,
Do you have a garden or grow any of your own food? If not for that, you are correct that 60 gallons a day is more than enough for a person's personal use. We are several years into this drought however and everything from old trees to established native plants are too stressed to weather the typical rainless months--compounded by record high temperatures.
