Lol that's the reason I can never jump/skip
Can't believe the chick in the gif is doing it, it's quite painful

Anyway today I went to the gym like every day and did 20mn treadmill/10mn rowing machine/20mn exercise bike/10mn bench presses/weights + an hour walk to and from uni
 
bicep, back and lats day.

my legs felt like electricity was shooting through them all morning. ah, sweet blessed doms.

it's still a main staple of boxing. a mate of mine reckons it's a harder cardio workout than running.

the action seems to use more muscle groups with a greater intensity (the upward thrust of the skip) so it seems like a good bet. I usually feel it a lot in my calf muscles after skipping for long distances.
 
I'm not sure it even counts but I hula hooped for 20 minutes today.

its still big in sports, hurdlers, boxers, tennis players, heaps common. double jumps are bloody great!
 
6 of us went on a 4 mile night trail run in -6C. No wind. Not bad at all to run in and too cold to stop very long. Icy spots...tricky.
