Healthy Living Photo Thread

Thanks. I like the length of the top and the "mitten" part was great for nose/mouth wipes.
Under Amour, FTW!

This thread gets no play with the beautiful healthy living folks.
Show me your legs, people!

Good god, woman. :)

Everyone looks amazing in this thread so I'm a bit hesitant to post, but -

I'm on a diet now though, the objective is to lose 10kg. I was in an accident a couple years ago where I damaged my neck and I can't do sports anymore so I've gotten extremely out of shape and put on a lot of weight. I used to do judo at a national level so I would train 10-15 hours a week...I think a tiny bit of ab definition is left over from that? Haha.
Anyway hopefully in a month or two I'll be able to post an 'after' pic :)

Pagey, like many people have said before me, focus on the strength training and you'll be back to being fit as can be. Don't worry about "skinny". A toned, strong, yet still feminine body is always more appealing than just being "skinny" in my eyes.

Strong IS the new skinny. I have to remind myself that my thickness actually makes me thinner.
Thank you Ebow for your positive energy.

I like a girl who can hold her own when I wrestle with her and pin me down and have her way with me ;)

You should see me out running, bmxx. ;) My running singlets are pink and black, as are my shorts - plus shoes, socks, phone, headphones - occasionally even underwear.

Gotta' look good while you're pounding the pavement!!!

Slowly but surely putting on muscle, definition, tone, and strength.

Not too bothered, but it's nice not to "have to" tense for photos anymore, let alone simply being healthier and not seeing my ribs all the time in pics.

Taken a few weeks ago, beard is gone - although I know now I can pull with a beard! Energy is up up up.

Badonk-a-donk wow Tab - some nice booty shot right there.

Pagey - PRE-RAPHAELITE classical beauty of perfect golden ratio figure coming rrriiiiiiight up - your curves are innate, and you're most beautiful as you know...yet occasional reassurance helps us at this stage don't it.

err, you want to add more or at a minimum maintain muscle AND ADD more body fat.

this is from a strictly healthy physiological perspective.

more body fat will give you the curves or feminine look. train for muscular endurance, if you are happy with your current strength, build stamina.
Erroneous - No more body fat is needed - she doesn't live in Alaska, she lives in Britain.

Muscle toning will add defintion and her innate curves will just get bolder and more womanly. Her body will naturally put on fat (and more body hair haha) if and when she needs it - she doesn't need to try for it.

I found out that there are awards for the top 3 in each age group. I have placed first in several races and 2nd twice.
I didn't stick around this time either to collect my 2nd place award.

Thanks ;)

Before I became a mod my username was mami. I changed it around May '11.

How long have you been running marathons?

eta: You don't recognize me because I haven't posted photos of myself on BL before.. perhaps 2 and then later removed.

You are right we don't "know" each other ;)
I have been trail running since July 2011. No marathons in my future.
What is your exercise of choice?

Hmm, my exercise of choice...
It depends on the weather and if I am feeling like leaving the house.

Inside, I do yoga (this is not so much exercise as it is stretching). Pushups, situps, pilates, dancing.
Outside, sneakers and go for a run. No fuss :) I only end up running like 20 times per year, pretty consistently for the last 10 years. I'd like to change that : )

See you around.
