I'm pretty happy with my general fitness now we've been running consistently for a good twelve months. I know I could be more toned, but I like the effects the cardio is having on any potential pudginess (as I get closer and closer to the big 3-0).
My running schedule means my fitness is always improving too, which is so satisfying. I can last much longer distances now than I ever thought possible, and strangely enough I've grown to really enjoy the act of running and truly wearing myself out on a consistent basis.
I'm pleased to show everyone my "Summer-body" - ready for use in Winter.
And it's only going to get better. Summer means lighter meals, and more opportunities for weekend bike-riding in addition to our scheduled runs. Swimming doesn't hurt, either. Excited!
