Morning EADDers...
Yet another largely quiet day for me.
I suppose I will do some job hunting at some point, although it is proving to be rather a slow process. So far I've applied for one but never heard back. Got halfway through applying for another two only to find out they wanted specific experience, something which neither had mentioned in the advert... complete waste of time. I really don't understand why the vast majority of jobs out there seem to want experience, it's like where do you start?!
I guess I could apply for graduate schemes, but I'd rather ease myself into work having been unemployed for 3 years... plus I don't want to relocate. Still, I shall keep looking & hopefully find some more opportunities like the first one I applied for. I do have a feeling less people are advertising now in the run up to Christmas though.
As it happens, the first storm to be officially named by the Met Office, Storm Abigail, is bearing down on the west coast of Scotland at the moment. I'm on the east coast so will miss out the worst of it, but we are due to get some pretty strong winds tonight through tomorrow morning.
@Bear - that's certainly one way to cut down travel expenses, certainly a bit hairy though! :D
