Thrilling news of the day.

My 'fitted sheet suspender straps' arrived today. No this isn't anything kinky, they are just elastic straps that attach under the corners of the sheets under the mattress, and stop the sheet riding up during the night and keep them in place. Will see if they work for me. Was getting a little annoyed with that happening so often.

I love that how these days nearly all of life's trivial and irksome practical problems can be solved by watching a half dozen you tube videos, and then implementing the best solutions.

Never been in Montenegro...but for others-any shipment from Netherlands is highly suspicious and,if u caught u are in a big,big shit.Be smart and don't take stupid risk.

They help, but the sheet will still ride up, just maybe not as fast.

I find downing a few 500ml bottles of nice and cold water, a hot shower, and sex or a wank has me feeling on the road to recovery a hell of a lot faster than if I just fester in bed all day.

I agree.

However today I took a day off because I could and even went back to bed for a power nap while the kids were out to school

Felt good. Spicy Thai food for dinner and sorted
 
Had Covid for two fucking weeks now and still testing positive. Had to cancel all kinds of things and stuck indoors :mad:

Had three jabs already and now I'm getting messages from the NHS telling me to go for another 'booster'. Screw that, the jabs don't work, I'd rather get natural immunity - but this seems suspiciously like an unnatural virus, like something cooked up in a Wuhan laboratory.... I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it makes you wonder
 
How frustrating it is trying to walk that line between having enough benzos and alcohol to be able to relax and function socially, and without having too much so that it takes the edge right off my pool playing so that I play absolutely shit.

It's at times like this that I envy people that can do the social thing easily and without anxiety.

Less benzos and alcohol and I play well, but the social side is difficult. More benzos and alcohol and the social side feels a lot easier but I play pool like a donkey.

Not sure what I can do to resolve this one.

W/e though it's a step up all round. A few years ago I'd never have had the confidence to even be trying to do this in the first place.
