Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner. There's qute a bit of it on PooToob but is easy enough to track down in full elsewhere.

May well have been someone else I was talking about the book with then. PTCH mentioned it and I thought you chipped in as you've read it but given it was a Blade Runner discussion it could've been anybody really. Popular film is Blade Runner. And with good reason <3

Yup. I <3 William Gibson. Not read any of his more recent stuff though. Everything up until that one he did with Bruce Sterling (The Difference Engine?) though. One of me fave sci-fi authors. Film versions have been less than stellar, mind. That one with Keanu Reeves and the talking dolphins was pretty funny though. And Abel Ferrera's take on New Rose Hotel is worth a watch purely cos it's Abel Ferrera (and the cast is pretty damn sweet too).

I realy got to read more by him tbh, I love that book so much.

All of his stuff that I've read I've enjoyed greatly. Bruce Sterling is also worth checking out if ya like that kinda thang. Could make a case that he actually beat Gibson to the whole cyberpunk bizniz. There's a few other authors in similar vein I could recommend but can't dredge up the names off the top of me head. One Brit that does similar(ish) stuff (the name Spares floats to mind but may be mistaken) and another Brit that does kinda semi-comedic cyberpunky stuff I read some of recently but totally can't recall the name of. So not much help mentioning really but maybe somebody else will know.
 
Wow, skimmed through the last 6 pages, last thread included, bit mental goings on here, would have been perfect for moving to the beef thread if someone hadn't closed it ;)

Just had a nice day with my mate, playing fifa13 and we had some gorgeous minted lamb steaks from the local butcher. Makes me want to eat lamb a lot more.
