Indeed. That was the first Gibson book I didn't get around to buying. When paperbacks started costing a tenner a pop I switched to secondhand only. Everything comes to those who wait (as long as they're near a decent charity shop :D).
 
I said a while ago that I was never going back to Pressure because it was too full of bams but this line-up that's just been released has changed my mind. Absolute fucking belter. I'm all over this.

it's fairly obvious to me now that farmaz is a 'PM Warrior' ...
ie: acting like a gangster wannabe in public, then giving it the 'I luff you, pwease be my fweind' shtick in PMs, but then continuing to be an imbecile when posting. Eh, everyone needs to be liked and to feel part of the crew to some degree, but there are quicker and more genuine ways of going about it than that.

Slam seems to play over there every fucking week! Should show their face here sometime. Better lineups bring better crowds anyway, there's a place that sounds a bit like that here. Ended up going on I think was Boxing Night/Around Christmas cause was a decent lineup and a friend had a room going, just full thumping techno through my coke'd/pilled out face all night. Still had a great time even though the crowd was shite compared to places I'm normally used to. The only problem with here though is that it's so small it's the same crowd everytime, or feels like it. Suppose it's good knowing everyone but at the same time if you ever miss a night here you haven't really missed anything because you can do the same next week.
