if you are going to say something about clinton bombing an aspirin factory, why dont you say what reagan did, j22? read dr seuss's post, just incase you dont know. its funny how what reagan did was ok, but what clinton did was so horrible.

I don't think he was implying that what Reagan did was OK. He's simply advocating a respect for human life in general.

Everyones missing my point. I'm not a Reagan sympathizer.

I am one of the loudest voices against the Death Penalty period. I think it's disgusting, putrid, shameful, and unhumane to laugh at someones death ANYONES death and treat that person they way some people here have spoken. Period. It's a human life, and its no less important than yours. And the irony in it all, is the criticism comes from these liberal people who are so concerned with the life of people like Saddam or anyone for that matter. Totally contradictory and hypocritical
 
I never laughed, I'm just not overly concerned. I, too, am against the death penality. But like i said, i don't have much respect for the lives of murderers. So i'd advocate that life is precious. But just b/c i do, doesn't mean their loss affects me so very greatly to the point i think a nation should mourn. People die everyday, we don't have time to mourn half of the amazing people who commit great deeds, but yet due to popularity we can mourn the life of a international criminal.. for no other fact that he was a leader who riled up people's emotions.
 
I don't even remember the man. I was a child. The man was an idiot from what I can tell, and that's all there is to say about that. Why I should take off my hat because he's dead is ignorant. When my idiot ass uncle ( real family ) dies are you gonna take off your hat for him? I know I'm sure as hell not.

but im certainly not going to say "fuck him" in regard to your uncle. or any of the dead for that matter.
 
^You may not, But I probably will. Disregard for others in your life, will usually mean disregard for yourself in death.
 
"fuck him" = i don't really care.

I just think the man is atrocious. Yeah its a human life, but someone i feel that was a detriment to society. While i can respect the fact he was a life, i don't have to respect him.
 
Even though DD likes Linkin Park and crossdresses, if he died, I would never cast him into a negative light. It's a life.
 
Like I said, I dont care if you dont want to bow your head, recognize him as a good man or even give a shit he died.

But dont say something like "fuck him" after he;s dead, that is so disrespectful and cruel.

youre right, I wouldnt care about your uncle at all...but I would never hear of your uncles death and then say "fuck your uncle"
 
the point being, is if I would say it about someone who's alive, like hell I'm gonna hold my tongue because they're dead.

Death does not buy you a ticket to gods or my own good graces. Fate plays it's own part, but you make the choices. So if you make bad shit happen or I don't like you Fuck you, Fuck you now, fuck you 7 million years from now. And if you die next week, Fuck you then.
