Teaser trailer. Bale being on board gives me a small glimmer of hope that this will be good. Better than the third movie, at the very least.

I found it to be an interesting read. The pictures were pretty cool, too. I'm looking forward to this one.

I'm going to go ahead and put my head on the chopping block by saying this will be a really good movie. No T2 by any means, but it will satisfy the majority of the Terminator fans out there.

To say it will be better than T3 is redundant. This will be one of the best summer movies of 2009.

Agreed. I think it's got the potential to be an absolute disaster.

One... Bale was poor in The Dark Knight and faxed his performance IMO. He's probably a damn sight better than most actors of his age, but it ain't a guarantee of quality.

Two, Joseph McGinty is directing [lol].

Three, Joseph McGinty's highest achievement is directing "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" [lol again].

Fourth, just like The Dark Knight, they have considered making this a PG-13 film. I think that would be a huge mistake.

Fifth, and this is the killer... Michael Ironside has been cast [double lol] which pretty much puts the film in camp parody land.

^yea, what's up with all these movies trying to be PG-13? Who cares about that audience? They will end up seeing it anyways, like I did with T2 as a kid.

In the link I posted at the top, it says they're shooting for a "hard R".

The studios care very much about "that" audience, as PG-13 movies turn out greater numbers at theatres than R.
