Ahnold, the governator, isn't in this one.

After the drastic effects of Terminator 3, the story continues as John Connor and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.

the'yre setting up for a 2nd trilogy. It could be awesome, but more than likely will suck ass.

Wow. The 3rd didn't even deserve the time it took to give a review. I hope this one does terribly at the box office.

Amen, sister.

The 'franchise' died when the credits of T2 rolled... along with Edward Furlong's career.

It's so much that the 3rd movie sucked. It's just that it was a rehash of the second movie. And I didn't understand how the girl Terminator was in anyway an upgrade from the second one.

Yep, it was her mission to titnotize John Connor then blast him into orbit with her gun totin' kahoonas.

aww, come on guys! Give it a chance. Its from the same guy, "McG" (??!?), who gave us all Charlie's Angels and We Are Mashall

I thought T3 was surprisingly good. No, I don't see how the T-X was better than the T-1000 either, and having it be a woman was gimmicky, and the end of T3 didn't make any sense at all in the scheme of the preceding two movies--but I still think it was a worthy effort.

In any event, I refuse to speculate on this new flick until I see it.

^Heh, I liked T3 too. :p

I'll likely see this, but it'll largely be based on how the trailer looks.

They're not going to top T2 though. That movie had some sweet scenes (dirt-bike chase/Skynet break-in/the end) and the T1000 had cool abilities. Terminator 3 was alright, but was a little too hyped up or at least in my mind. I thought the acting was only so/so too.

Because the T-1000 could be slowed down by small arms fire wheras the T-X could walk through about anything without being effected by it. Of course, she also had an array of onboard weapons that were much more destructive then the T-1000's. She was in fact, over-powered.

Terminator 1 and 2 are probably my top favorite movies of all time. I liked the third one ok enough that I bought it on DVD, I also use "T-X" as my ringname when I fight and have a T-800 endoskeleton skull on my shorts. But T-3 certainly wasnt the masterpiece of movie perfection that was Terminator 2.

Speaking of Terminator 2. My dad has built a mini theatre with theatre style seating and sound and a gigantic LCD TV (probably the largest one I've ever seen)

I watched Terminator 2 while on 12mgs of DOI not long ago. I had flames and terminators and resistence fighters coming off the screen and fighting in the theatre in the opening scene.

Everytime the T-1000 would transform the front of the room would shimmer and shift into liquid metal, and I just had a ton of awesome visuals from the movie.

Not to mention I was riding the edge of my seat with my muscles tensed up for the whole of the movie.

When the end credits rolled I very much felt like I had just been in a fight and was sore from being tense for so long.

Fuckin awesome. To say the least.

I just realised that T-X herself is in the 4th series of The L Word. It was driving me absolutely crazy. I knew I'd seen her somewhere before.
