I liked both of those.

Sure, Phantom Menance introduced us to Jar Jar who most people woud have rather have gotton run over by that Trade Federation MTT

But, it also introduced us to perhaps the coolest Star Wars Character to date.

So, it all balanced the force.

And Clone Wars had some of the best large scale battle scenes ever viewed. Not to mention Joda kicking ass.

PS My Dad said he wasn't going to buy me the $500 limited edition movie prop replica of a Storm Troppers Blaster.

i liked them both too, not as much as the original ones (which i also don't like as much as i used to). for once though i'm just not all that excited about this one. maybe it just hasn't hit me yet.

I swear I still get goosebumps everytime I watch this trailer and Emperor Palpatine summons forth Darth Vader off the table:

Emperor Palpatine: "LORD VADER....?"

Darth Vader: "Yes, Master?"

George Lucas you have this one last hope to salvage the Starwars franchise... Please don't dissapoint us.

it looks dark enough. should be good. i think ppl are just a tad desensitized by the marvelous sfx we see constantly in film these days that it has become quite hard to get all that excited about such films anymore.
