I think it would be awesome if people had to use thread titles that were descriptive of the post contents, topic, or something along those lines.
It doesn't have to be a thesis statement or anything. But I HATE coming here and seeing threads titled "Yes or no?" (Yes or no what? what the hell are you talking about?). "
"Salvia question".... ok, cool, but can you not go ahead and ask it as the thread title? Or provide some sort of hint so people can glance at it and read further if they know/care, and pass if they don't?
"Problem"... thats thorough, for sure.
"Hey I'm New And Thought This Would Be The Best Place"... this is about drug addiction, serious issues, and help needed. I thought it was someone wanting to score acid or something who didn't read the rules. So I never bothered to give any input or help.
"I have an idea"... ok. WTF is it?
"Sugar cube acid"... its about splitting a couple doses on a cube. Why not "How to split combined doses of acid on sugar cubes?" (or whatever).
"How much does it take?"... How long is a piece of string?
"Not sure if this is the right forum"... its a question about a drug combo, but from the title it sounds like they need a site map.
"Some Advice"... Giving it? asking for it? I dont know, it was too vague of a title to sound like the thread would have any real content, so i didnt bother.
"Help me understand"... Well, what can't you understand?
See what I mean? these are all real threads from the PD forum. Seems like for a forum that is supposed to be more advanced discussion than the basic drugs forum, people should, you know, tell us what the thread is about. I get artsy titles and all that, not trying stifle that. Its just weak when people cant be fucked to type out something descriptive. I generally can't be hassled to help them with their problem or whatever in this case, either, it wastes too much time, and makes the forum look watered down.
