Favourite Drug based Movie

Trainspotting, without a doubt. But I also gotta give some love to Fear and Loathing & Drugstore Cowboy

Did anyone see 24hour Party People?
Its one of my faves, about the Manchester music scene, sex pistols, joy division, new order, and the happy mondays.

I loved that movie ive not known too many people who have seen it though.

Trainspotting gets my vote. Drugstore cowboy would be my second pick. Barfly and blow are great too.

I think I developed an unhealthy attraction to Ewen McGreggor look-a-likes who have substance abuse problems, due to viewing Trainspotting.
I wish he had never done the Jedi thing. ~sigh~

Up in Smoke I think is the funniest movie, it's also the original "pothead" movie so it gets bonus points for that.

requiem for a dream was terrible. the accents were annoying, and i was happy to see those dipshits all get what they had coming to them. Maid Marion especially.

Talk about putting a bad rep out for people who like turntables.

My favorite has to be HALF BAKED. I really really like the first half of Blow and I also like Train spotting... Actually all drug movies are great but those are top 3.

I liked blow really well, train spotting was pretty good and one I didn't see on there called Formula 51 I found to be pretty amusing which had samuel l jackson as a master chemist who is trying to make a big drug deal.... I havn't seen many of these movies though but out of the ones i've seen these are some of my favorites

i voted for Trainspotting, which is a fantastic film, although high on the list would definitely be Human Traffic, Fear and Loathing, Half Baked, Lock Stock etc etc.

One of my favourite films, though... Withnail and I comes out on top, though. :D

hard to pick one, especially as scarface is on the list... its about drugs of course, but i dont know, its obviously the best movie on the list, but best drug movie, i think drugstore cowboy was pretty good, that and trainspotting were my favorites closely followed by candy and spun. scarface is better than all of those just as a movie, not a drug movie. as a drug movie its not as good as those four but better than the rest with the exception of maybe fear and loathing
