I would advise (with best possible of intentions) that you only forward such complete PM discussions through "official channels" and not publicly if you do choose to go that route. There's no easy way of proving any such transcripts are truly complete so will always be a judgement call to some extent. You spoke of a number of instances - my use of "some" was meaning that there is only one of those situations I feel qualified to hold an opinion on and it is that one I do hold an opinion on as there (at least on the surface) appears to be a complete set of relevant PMs on that matter. This really, really isn't the place for such discussions though but do feel free to contact myself or any staff member you feel comfortable discussing such matters with. Any and all warnings and infractions are always up for recinding if a reasonable case is made for poor decisions being made.

I've called both males and females "fukkin morons" on many an occasion. Again, I'd point out that I tend to do so very much in context of specific opinions. Much as I call racists bigots and (or indeed fukkin morons) and so forth. There's also context of previous interactions to take into account. There's also whoever makes the decsion and what state of mind they happen to be in to take into account. I suspect the latter is of most relevance usually. As I said (and truly is the case) there are several layers of checks and balances in place for matters of disciplinary actions. Do they always work? Nope. But we do the best we can.

Beyond that it's hard to know what to say really. You're taking one phrase out of context which could be seen as fair comment, injoke or unacceptable abuse - or indeed many other things. It comes down to context generally as far as I can tell. The system is not perfect - far from it - but there is a system and it does (for the most part) work okay I think. There are and always will be cases where it doesn't work. This is why there are appeal process and (often wince-inducingly lengthy and in-depth) debates on minutiae of individual cases. That all goes on behind the scenes though and staff are not allowed to discuss it publicly - we actually get a bigger slap than there is for any other BL "crime" for doing so it's seen as such a red line. Again, the rights and wrongs of that as policy are fine to debate but specifics just aren't cos it would involve public dissection of private messages which is simply not a good road to go down.

Why does one person get jail for possession of a bit of weed whilst the next gets a slap on the wrist for an oz of coke? No system is fair all of the time. Not saying it's right but it is a FACT! and all we can do is strive to improve the system.

I'm not on about reporting you (or anyone) Shammy. I'm bitter at what I got banned for. 2 weeks for calling Evey a stupid bitch - for which I received FIVE separate emails congratulating me on my straight talking, and a PM from Evey admitting she was in the wrong. Then 4 more weeks for daring to ask a mod (Snolly) why I had got banned before. As stated, these emails, which Whoremoaning now holds, were not abusive. And in return I got an incredibly abusive email from Baooozs, which I cannot believe Ali didn't either agree with or know about, which called me 'one of the worst posters on BL who should have been banned long ago for my vile and malevolent behaviour'.

Add that to what I see now (and what I saw from others towards Evey while I was banned) and you might just understand why I feel a bit aggrieved.

In fairness, SHM. I don't think it was that specific comment which got you banned. I think it was months of preceding feuding with other posters that was taken into consideration, before they started to take action. You have expressed issues with a couple of posters on this site - and I am not questioning your reasons for those issues - but you have certainly been keen to get quite abusive in attitiude towards those posters in the past. I have noted it, many times.

Staff felt this was not an appropriate way to deal with these issues towards members and that they should deal with it.

Shambles raas-o-whinging is relatively newfound, and even ColtDan expressed surprise at his comments. I'm sure if he keeps calling me a fucking moron over a protracted period of time, the comments would be taken more seriously.

My mother regularly extricated my pee-ee from being zipped up in what would nowadays be called a onesie that I was so fond of I wore right up until the point the thought of my mother having to extricate my pee-pee from the zip became too much for even me to bare. Yes, as late as last week.
