Father, photographer, Child Pornographer.

Why do you believe he made a mistake in uploading the photos? Is there something intrinsically wrong which I'm missing?

If the 'mistake' was in not anticipating the reactions of a few twisted idiots, then thank fuck for mistakes. If somebody objects to his photos, which are clearly not pornographic in the slightest, then it's their problem.

It is far too easy to ask for the death penalty in the safety of the person's home. I personally don't agree in havinh a "death penalty ," as if someone is found to be innocent - what then?

It is too easy to get caught up in society's ideals instead of researching / thinking for oneself. I'm actually very much guilty of doing that very thing.

I think that, instead of getting angry at people for doing so, how about educating people? Give them facts/evidence, food for thought - so to speak. EADD has had me realise I'm quit ignorant in a lot of my ideals , as a lot of people, too quick to believe what society believes.

Education is the key. Being pissed off resolved nothing but further conflict, anger, drama n ignorance.

How can the backlash possibly be regarded as his mistake, and not just the reaction of shit-stirring imbeciles? Are we supposed to take the possibility of such silliness into account before we post anything whatsoever on the internet? Fuck that.

If these photographs had been in the least bit sexually suggestive, then I'd agree with you, but they just aren't.

As for the possibility of police involvement and loss of custody, I'm pretty baffled. The guy has done nothing wrong, so there's zero chance of him losing custody. So I fail to see why he should have thought of this prior to posting the pics.
 
These same people who have vilified this guy probably upload 5+ photos of their little Darcy a day onto facebook looking for a "like" or a comment of validation by a bunch of folk they barely know on their friends list..

I'm not even going to honour the question with a response, any decent person knows taking advantage of a child to make pornographic images is wrong.

How ever for everyone else ( almost everyone except a few ill and damaged individuals) children are not viewed in a sexual manner. I've got picstures of my children in various states of undress, I'm their father FFS. In the house we try and be relaxed about nudity, whilst respecting privacy....with a girl at 11 and a boy nearly 7 they need time to them selves just like me and Mrs A do.

Yes I worry a little about those that prey on children but honestly I'm more concerned about messing them up with rubbish about sex and being ashamed of bodies, I want them to explore the world and make there own minds up as to who they are not think all men a dangerous sexual predators and that their bodies should be hidden away and sexual feelings are somehow wrong or dirty, so many people think like that when you scratch the surface.

I actually agree with this, to be honest. My little girl laughs about being nakad n is free to explore that n feel innocent as all children should. Unfortunately we live in a world where we are scared to do this with our children encase we're thought of as pedos n they are taken away from us. If we're too scare to joke n discus parts with them like 'private' how are they meant to ever truly understand about themselves. I feel the witch hunt is actually damaging children n the relationship between parent-child as men are too afraid to even change their daughter's nappy encase they're investigated. I know my brother refused to do so for this reason but would change the boys ok.

Unfortunately I have those thoughts of men being predators, due to what my ex did but he's now in jail for four yeaes (which isn't long enough for sexually abusing a child, in my opinion. But with the help of EADD I'm slowly changing those opinions n thought-patterns n learning of a healthier way of thinking. Lthough I felt the way I did, I always tried to make sure it never impacted on my daughter as I want her innocent n free. One day I'm going to have to tell her what monstor her father was n I'm not looking forward to that at all. My family think I should keep it from her n never tell her to protect her. I've gotta live with the guilt that I fell for the wrong man n thus impacted her, for the rest of my life n know one day she will ask. Questions.

My point with this is that there are good, decent, kind men (fathers) out there just like my Dad is a good father, n they shouldn't have to lose out bonding with their children n help ing them explore themself because of the sick-minded individuals n propaganda from government n media sources.

I was brought up by a convicted child abuser (convicted of the sexual abuse. got away with the other forms of abuse, that'd be a whole other subject though so...) and he took pix of us nekkid. Those would be the same pix my mother is so fond of bringing out on the odd occasion I bring a ladyfriend home to meet her. I have no problem with this (beyond the obvious excrutiating nature of having babypix shown to ladyfriends) cos there is nothing sexual whatsoever inherent in those pix. Anything sexual exists purely in the mind of the person seeing sexuality there. That is not my problem.

Good post. Yes it is more about perception of individuals as opposed to specific photographs.
