why is that a golden rule? are you saying you shouldnt try to get to know someone in reallife that you met online first? or thats doomed to failure?i've never used facebook but i'm pretty sure the golden rule is to only add people as friends that you have already met

I deleted my Facebook twice now. I decided to come back as an alias so that I could have more fun on FB without my IRL friends and family knowing what I am into. It's just best that way.
