a lot of Strassman's ideas are more conjecture than anything.demons said:I'm going to say yes, because I heard Rick Strassman explaining how DMT is active in your normal everyday perceptions. DMT is what gives the world its magic glow of wonder... you may remember this from special moments in your childhood. So-called antipsychotic drugs nullify the action of the brain's natural psychedelic chemicals, and so make the world more grey and dull.
N,N-DMT is indigenous to the human brain, 5-MEO-DMT is indigenous to the human brain, and N,N-DMT is produced in the brains of rats during birth and during death. I'm relatively certain these are the only facts that have been ascertained in a lab. I could be wrong; perhaps DMT is produced during human births and deaths also. It's been a while since I read the research papers on the subject. However I do know all that shit about dreaming, all that shit about the pineal gland, et cetera....it's completely fabricated. Science has no clue what role DMT plays in everyday perception.
