Ethylphenidate Discussion Thread

Was going to get more but I think I'll give this a miss . Found some publications that related to MPH EP half lives however this was a study of co administration of d-mph and racemix mph with ethanol. It seemed to indicate the EP had a longer half life but in reality this is probably due to the metablolism of MPH + ethanol invitro into EP. All the subjects had MPH present in plasma until about 4 hr mark after this it was d+l EP which was present until 8 hr.

I've found oral to be preferable to sniffing thus far. Not because of discomfort (I don't find it too bad to snort, just a little eye watering), I just find it seems to last longer, be a bit less jittery, and a bit more euphoric when I swallow it. Smoother come down, too. That's just my experience, of course.

To keep me going for a few good hours I'll swallow 100mg and then around 3 to 4 hours later, swallow 50mg. If I want to keep going after that I find 10mg bumps up the nose to be good for maintenance. I can get lots done, and all with a smile (until it wears off;) )

Be careful it's VERY moreish. We don't know how fast it is eliminated. Compulsion to dose high and keep dosing continuously is a real danger. The nose burn was a kind of safety lock.

Can't really say this strong enough, but again PLEASE be careful.

I would feel horrible if something happened because I had put up an encouraging report from a friend. This guy is 24 and in very good health.

Sublingual administration works ok but it tastes shit & burns. This stuff is being cut with caffeine and benzocaine I'm fairly sure. Caffeine toxicity would account for nausea experienced (could be the EP as MPH can produce similar adverse effects). Benzocaine will cause the following condition:
"Methemoglobinemia is a rare, but serious condition in which the amount of oxygen carried through the blood stream is greatly reduced. In the most severe cases, methemoglobinemia can result in death. Patients who develop methemoglobinemia may experience signs and symptoms such as pale, gray or blue colored skin, lips, and nail beds; headache; lightheadedness; shortness of breath; fatigue; and rapid heart rate. Methemoglobinemia has been reported with all strengths of benzocaine gels and liquids." (FDA Safety Alerts, 2011) Caffeine toxicity will cause cardiac arrythmia, vasoconstriction , diahorrea and other nasty symptoms. (MPH causes adverse effects of a similar nature.) A combination of these products with MPH creates "Toot" or "Kiddy Coke" as it was known back in the day. It would be reasonable to assume that RC vlendors will adulterate their products with these legal cheap products and laugh all the way to the bank. I have a mate who gets into his IV ROA who has been acquiring this RC and I have told him to be very careful and have some IV benzodiazepine at had if needed. (I'd rather plug bennies as I don't IV and have not for a long time.) Also perhaps if your going to IV have some vasodilator at hand because this combo really plays havoc with the circulatory system (even fennel seeds have vasodilatory properties). As for the nose bleed it could be the caffeine or inactive filler although I've read of people crushing up prozac into the mix and this gives a nose bleed from hell. Good luck all and stay safe.

This drug has the tweaker side of me really excited atm. Anyone with a history of stim abuse, what's your take/experience on this...? I've had to be stern with myself this time around quitting meth so that it means quitting STIMS, as in the past my 'meth free' times just meant I did mdpv or coke daily instead. As an incorrigible stimulant addict, is this something I should stay away from?
 
like footsy said, this has my inner crackhead very very intersted too. need more opinions from oher crackheads on bl for this substance yo. Also, whats the toxicity of this substance. As well as how bad is it for your cardiovesculor stuff.

LOL this will somewhat awaken your "Inner Crackhead", IMO not as addictive (done it all day yesterday, same down with MXE and Etizolam), and feel 100% today. It's brilliant. I love it personally. A little to much. But if you have addictive tendencies to meth/crack, i'd limit my use.

I'd definitely avoid it footscrazy. If you've had problems with stimulants it'll likely be the same for this, and it's potentially more dangerous...it's pretty cheap also. So yeah...for you in particular I'd advise against it!

My friend who tried it IV said the crash wasn't too bad, but it wasn't non-existent either. He's also wanting more and could see it becoming a problem for him...this guy managed to keep meth use to weekends as well when he used to do it.
 
I will have some opinions on this substance through the week (possibly Monday) and I am pretty experienced with meth and stims in general. I used to love methylphenidate back in the day so this substance will make for a very interesting comparison to meth and ritalin as well as cocaine, I am very much looking forward to trying this out.

Will be opting for insufflation as my ROA, might see how it goes with smoking/vaping down the line but seeing how the 'freebase' form of EP is being advertised on some overseas vendors I have doubts about its stability for inhalation of any kind in its salted form.

The EP shouldn't be to bad for your cardiovascular system in small quantities if it is uncut (compared to pure meth or coke). If the product numbs your mouth see my previous post it's a bit bla bla bla but it should have alll the info you need. The combination of caffeine, benzocaine and ethylphenidate will cause vasoconstriction and increase pulse rate. If you IV it then expect vasoconstriction to be systemic this includes your heart. I cant be bothered to provide any more info just do some research and please don't keep hitting it every 1.5 hrs in ever increasing quantities as you will fuck yourself up. I have administered an IM dose and the stuff is VERY NICE! I will not be using this stuff again. (I have a small amount (4g) for the festivals but thats it for me!)
 
I have to say that I am quite impressed with this stuff, 100mg insufflated in roughly 10mg lines (mostly two at a time, but sometimes one) over 100 minutes or so has had me fairly high for just over 2.5 hours and whilst it is starting to wear off I still feel it a little and the urge to do more is not great. As noted by other users there is quite a sharp pain when going up the nose, I have put a lot of shit up there over the years and this effect is not particularly bothersome to me but the sting is greater than with a lot of other drugs.

It is not the most euphoric stimulant I have ever used, but there is some present and it has a nice, if somewhat mild body buzz to go with it. Wasn't really feeling much euphoria until I hit around the 50mg mark, I assume euphoria would be more pronounced if the dose was taken at once. Definately very mild in the way of physical effects in terms of overheating, sweating, anxiousness, increased heart rate or dilated pupils. I did make the mistake of not eating this morning before I started using and the slightly up and down nature of repeated small doses of a relatively short acting stimulant is causing me to experience mild hunger pains as the buzz decreases noticeably in intensity.

I don't know if it is the fact I have already abused the shit out of methylphenidate, increased body weight, a handful of years smoking meth recreationally in between or a combination but to me this does not seem any more potent than methylphenidate mg per mg and it feels a bit less euphoric and with less physical side effects, the come down seems a fair bit smoother though. I see the comparison to cocaine as it is a much more relaxed type of stimulation than amphetamines, much like cocaine. I would say cocaine feels more euphoric and social but EP has a better duration, is less fiendy and more potent per mg than any cocaine I have ever sampled although I am inexperienced.

Overall I am impressed with this drug, going to go take around 40mg at once an see how that treats me. I might put some in my glassy later on and see if you can vape/smoke it, not sure though as I find a cracky mighty fiendy and am enjoying the lack of a real urge to redose. Please note that your mileage may vary as I am quite experienced with stimulants and must of picked up atleast somewhat of a tolerance to them so just because I need 50mg for euphoric effects does not mean it wont be too much for you.

I should mention I took a single restavit to help me sleep last night at 1.30-2am, I am not sure if this would decrease the intensity of effects I am feeling. I did feel quite stupid when I woke up because I am fairly certain promethazine inhibits dopamine to some degree and restavit/doxylamine succinate is a 1st Gen antihistamine like Prometh so presumably has similar action? Anyone that can comment on that?

*Just thought I would add that the redose went well. I was hoping for a little more euphoria but there is a bit present and I suppose I have dosed a number of times today as well as possibly having inhibited some of the dopaminergic effects with last nights use of restavit. The physical effects seem a touch more pronounced, mainly the jaw clenching aspect, it is a lot less obvious than on meth or MDMA but it is quite noticeable.

It isn't overly fiendy/addictive so far but at the same time I was only going to use it today and save it for a while and I have already justified having a medium sized line or two tommorrow to see if the restavit made a difference. 8( I do have somewhat of an addictive personality however, and in particular stimulants can be hard for me to control nowadays when they are at an arms reach.
