i learned my basic ebm and synth-pop music thought vampirefreaks.com back when i was 15 or so. now i listen to a way larger and more underground line of artist but i sugeest vampirefreaks.com a site to explore new artist of the ebm, powernoise and synth-pop artist.

its true the site has been over run by emos but it still is alive with cybergoths and riviet heads that trully like industrial music and live to a high beat bass to dance to.

However I've never set up a profile or used it so not worried on the social scene.
It does come in handy for concert info/interviews & for showing people tunes if I don't have mine on me.
So I use it for said purposes as that's why I have the account. :)

Good song & it features Mark Jackson always a plus.
Overall I enjoyed both Hell starts with an H & The Devil is Female.

Ironically one of my favorite songs by them is actually "Intro" on the Injection album.
Such a great intro IMHO.

Glad to see other people with my taste in music on bluelight!!!

Huge Skinny Puppy fan, seen them 3 times now, looking forward to 4th (hopefully on tour supporting new album) I prefer the newer stuff, Too Dark Park (ok, not new), Process, and Greater Wrong of the Right.

And of course their side-projects: Download, Ohgr, Doubting Thomas...

Haujobb, Architect, Front Line Assembly, big fans of those too. Listened to my share of Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Combichrist also.

Saw Combichrist open for KMFDM and they dominated. So much energy (it was a drummers birthday and he was mashed!!! Pretty sure by the end of the set the sound guy had turned down/off his drums in the mix!) KMFDM seriously disappointed me that show.

Gonna' check out some of the recommendations in here - thanks!
 
so there are some industiral fans here, EMB, powernoise, arggotech, terror EBM, noise, synth pop and anything related is about all i listen to. i used to be a hard core metal fan but industiral music and its relatives changed my life, found out most ppl that listen to that music are ex metal fans XD

if anyone cares theres a free complitation cd made by some underground artist but some of them are good.

You're definitely thinking along the right lines with regard to former music taste, former total metal-head and goth here.

Haujobb - Dream Aid (filtered thru Assemblage 23 - I find this song so lovely and chilled out, nice to stick on after a heavy night and it's time to unwind.

Haujobb - Penetration (Future Fuck Mix) - Probably my favourite mix of this track.

And finally...


Edge of Dawn - Elegance - Another act I've gotten into in the last 12 or so months, definitely worth a listen, especially as I think it has one of the most out of place and fantastic lyrics during the first break ("Like to touch fluffy things", lol.) Just be aware that the last few minutes of the youtube vid is just silence. Song ends at 4m55s
