eating Nurofen

well from reading this thread the vast majority of users (who have posted in bluelight and that may or may not be a statistical anomaly) have reported mild allergic reactions associated with their use of codeine.

now I'm not arguing this is a fact inscribed in stone or anything however the vast majority of websites which post a general list of affects normally note the itchiness associated with codeine (opiate use in general in fact).

I would say that it's as prevalent as the nausea some people feel who take opiates. In fact the I would say, based on my anecdotal experince (of course) that the people who I've known to experince nasuas with opiates (i.e. heroin and codiene) also experinced itchiness. Perhaps there is a link?

ha ha, nice depth . . .

all i was saying was that i dont get the itchiness . . . though i got the nausea the other night . . .

^ I find cigarettes really exacerbate it though.....

nothing spoils the rush of IV smack worse then smelling someone light a cigarette next to you.

I find lying down (elevated a few degrees) and minimising moment really helps with reducing nausea. That or a couple of stemotil before 30mins before dosing...

^^^ you also get itchie (an allergic reaction).....

I just pulled that from the section on duration. The Erowid FAQ has a larger section on all the effects earlier on. I left it out cos it's been discussed so many times already... not that anyone new with a question reads the old posts in this thread anyway ;)

I always go for a ciggie straight after a taste of H, makes the ciggie taste that much better. =D

anyone as bored as me?

damn i used to have about 200 boxes of codeine only tabs for st johns we always took a few to calm down but never knew it was an opiate
(if u want easy access to drugs join one of these organisations but u cant get penthraine nemore thx to my mate)

Guys, they seem to have released a new version of nurofen plus here in my area, different box and they come in different sizes (72's)....they wont split at all, not even the slightest.

Both sides seem to disolve at the same rate, does anyone know anything about these new ones?

my first question is are they actually Nurofen Pluses? . . .

edit: i just did a search online, and i highly doubt you can get Nurofen Plus in a pack of 72 . . .

thus, i doubt youre trying to split Nurofen Plus for the sake of the codeine . . .

i wouldnt risk it anyway . . .

on the upside, you now have a huge supply of headache medication :) . . .

Yes, i have been splitting nuro + for around a year now, these seem to be very different...new packaging, new sizes (72 tablet boxes) and they dont show any signs at all of being sandwitched together.

EDIT: Trust me, they are nurofen plus's, 200mg iboprofen 12.8 codeine.

true, you can get just plain nurofen in a 72 pack cant u?

can you provide a link to a bigger picture, or even an online pharmacy that stocks that? . . .

id say that would be a foreign product . . .

and also, unless someone has found a way to bond codeine and ibuprofen, id say there would be no reason why they arent splitting . . .

regardless, dont take them and stick to the 48 pack . . .

still, 72 seems too good to be true . . .

They ARE nurofen plus's, but they are very different, this is what the new packaging kinda looks like

Hey mate - what sizes does the new packaging come in?

This is a vital point, beacuse if it comes in ecery size (12,24 etc), then this is bad news as they may be phasing the old ones out

Does panamex split?

This is the only photo i can find, and its the exact box.

I dont know if they come in other sizes because my brother brought these home for me and he has gone out, i will ask when he gets back.

I'm getting the feeling here that its over for us guys.

Even the "unsplittable" batches of nurofen could be split with a little effort and were still shown to be sandwitched together by testing if the blank side caved/disolved inwards a little when sloshed in water.....these ones are very different, they show no signs of convexing/concaving wen cut directly in half and sloshed around in water for a few seconds, they seem to disolve at the same time.

I'm guess we're going to have to wait till they fully hit the market to tell.

Ive cut up 12 of them and done the usual n+ side cold-water extraction method that i usualy use, i'll give an update if i notice any difference in strength.

something about this doesnt seem right, but until i discover otherwise, im going to have to trust you . . .

the most unlogical part of this is the fact that theres now a box of 72 . . . this would cost far more than a box of 48, and would appear to me to be uneconomical in terms of the average, non-pharmaceutical abusing person . . . i guess what im saying is, who the hell is going to buy 72 freakin' Nurofen Plus's? . . .

and even if they dont split, the CWE should still work . . .

They were the same price as the 48, I originaly told my brother to go and get a 48 box while he was out and he handed the 72's over and said "these are the new ones".

EDIT: Christ i'm typing sloppy today, sorry, im a little tired.

I'm quite pissed off about this, i've allways prefered to cold-water the n+ sides to filter out the binders so i dont get stomach aches at higher doses.

I really am hoping that my pharmacy may have accidently recieved the wrong batch or something.

These boxes do look alot like the international versions.
