eating Nurofen

Thanks C Webster but I did actually find the page I was looking for on page 2. I read this whole thread a while ago and thought it was only back a few pages and after re reading going in reverse to page 8 I started from the start and got to page 2 and bingo.

Anyway I gave it a bash last night, and noticed very suttle effect from first 12 then another 6 about an hour later, was nice with a couple of joints but was nothing compared to Opium I tried in Thailand. And sort of off topic but would that make my opiate tollerance more (even though it was 5 months ago) and when trying that seemed to already have a tollerance because I had way more opium balls than anyone else.

i dont think 5 months would have anything to do with your tolerance - rather; your perception of the drug, along with expectations . . .

its quite a subtle drug, to me anyway, at around the 100mg mark . . . at 200mg, its a bit more pronounced . . .

im willing to go to 300mg, as many claim that as a recommended dose once you have a firm grip on the substance . . .

i know its different for all people, but how many doses/codeine trips at a particular dose does it take to start developing a tolerance? . . .
 
Hitting the nurofen plus heavily lately has gotten me wondering the health effects of consuming so much binder?

after a bit of a binge last night, I woke up today with some extremely fierce acid reflux.....is it the binders fucking with the PH of my stomach?

Any feedback?
 
i dont know much, but apparently acid reflux is symptomatic of too much ibuprofen . . .

how many N+ halves did you have? . . . how many nights in a row are we talking? . . .

im more worried about my liver . . . stupid organ - i stop drinking alcohol to fix it, and then i found out apparently codeine is just as damaging . . .
 
hmmm I've been wondering much about whether the N+ halves also contain a portion of ibuprofen

I consumed about 2 & half racks (approx) 24 N+ halves), about 296 MG of codiene....

Anyone got feedback on whether the halves contain ibuprofen? This is actually quite freaky, have i consumed a dangerous dose of iburofen? From reading these pages i've been given the idea that ibuprofen and Codeine are completly seperated from each other (hence the easily dividable halves)?
 
i doubt youve consumed any ibuprofen, and if you did, it would be out of your system now if you consumed it last night . . .

but theres bound to be some amounts of it clinging to the codeine half - unless youre a freakin' genius with splitting your pills . . .

i doubt the trace amounts would be noticeable though, so the heart burn may not be that . . .

i dont know what it is, but maybe its a good idea to lay off the N+ for a week or so . . .

thanks - my body is saying in very loud and clear terms that I should hold off from taking N+ for awhile.

Holy shit the flux is bad...had to get off the train because i was becoming overcome from the nasua & flux

I don't know how much more green tea I can take but far out my stomach is churning...

say, off a dosage of 200mg for a second time user? (not me) . . .
 
^^^ May have a naturally low tolerance to opiates in general...

About N+... I don't think it's even worth buying anymore. Very rarely do I get a pack where they actually split properly anymore and I change pharmacies quite regularly.

I just do a cold water extraction with panafen Plus or some other cheaper generic. You can get rid of most of the binder and ibuprofen and you don't feel as sick.

Just an idea.

I have had many a classic hang over like symptom (nausea, dizziness)........from usually heroin (not anymore since it's not my bag) and usually when I go over 250-300MG of codeine. Usually happens when you pass out before the high is over (i.e. going on the nod).

I find its better to be conscious and wait for the drug to wear off, hydrate and and then go to sleep. Reduces and/or stops the opiate hangover
 
i used to get severe acid reflux because i was a heavy drinker (ive stopped drinking for a while because i was scared about my brain) - in fact, i used to get it even when i wasnt drinking . . .

ive never ever got acid reflux or heart burn or whatever from codeine . . .

not that im trying to encourage you or anything . . .
 
How long does the high last?

It is usually a good idea to take the drug on an empty stomach, and if nausea is experienced or you get hungry (not likely) you can have something to eat. On an empty stomach the effects will become noticeable within 15 min depending on the dose. With higher doses the effects can begin in as little as 7 min. The effects peak at around 1 hr with the experience nearing it's end at around the 3 - 4 hr point. Again with higher doses effects may last 4 - 6 hours.

The effects will usually begin with a slight sedation, and a feeling of warmth coming over you body. Muscular relaxation is also quite noticeable. The subjective effects are quite hard to describe beyond the word euphoria. The sedation associated with codeine is quite a lot less than that experienced with morphine or other stronger opiates. A strong feeling of contentment is usually also experienced. Most people enter a phase where you become quite content and tend to lose interest in their surroundings. A heavy feeling in the limbs also becomes quite noticeable. This will peak at 1hr with the effects slowly tapering off after 2hr.
