eating Nurofen

For Negligable Tollerance

This is not the most enjoyable opiate to experiment with but if you do just be very cautious. Its just as possible to get hooked on this as it is Herion.
 
Seeing as nurofen + is cheap and easy to get, I'd say to start out low and experiment - I know people who feel quite good effects at 150mg, but any higher than that they start feeling nauseous, whereas others will take up to 300mg to get the same.

Each N+ has 12.8mg of codeine in it.

Regarding the feeling, I'd best describe it as a general warmth & good feeling slowly enveloping your whole body. Some people do experience itchiness & nausea. Since bluelight has such a wealth of information, I've pulled a few trip reports on it (both positive and negative):

CYP2D6
The body converts codeine into morphine (~10 by using the so called P450 cytochrome pathway, especially cytochrome 2d6 (cyp2d6). Unfortunately, cyp2d6 is missing in about 7% of the white population, and its manifestation is quite variable in the rest. Individuals who inherited a cyp2d6 deficiency will get many of the adverse effects associated with codeine but little euphoria. If codeine just doesn't work for you, this may be why.

Some drugs also interfere with cyp2d6. Prime among these are the SSRIs, with the exception of Zoloft (if I remember correctly). The most potent inhibitor is paroxetine (paxil), followed by fluoxetine (prozac). If you are taking an SSRI, you will probably experience a markedly decreased euphoria when using codeine. (Paxil has a half life of only 24hrs, so not taking it for a few days will do miracles; the half life of prozac is 7 days.)

Finally, codeine itself is a cyp2d6 inhibitor. This means that taking the whole dose as quickly as possible will probably give you the biggest high (ie. its a waste to redose in 30 mins).

I use codeine every now and then. I used to do it more often, but tollerance ruined the warmth I got, and so I cut it back... now I go for about 200mg, maybe more if I feel the need to. It is a funny opiate, sometimes it feels great, and the next time you feel nothing.
 
i tried 24 N+ (approx 300 mg) the other week and to be honest wasnt worth the effort. Got a mild buzz, but the itchieness drove me nuts followed by griping stomach pains all night. I had split a whole box of 48 so threw the other 24 out later. Never again. But then I might have that cyp2d6 deficiency.
 
Reactions to this drug can vary vastly, the itching realy can be a problem for some people. Other opiates tend not to give me as pronounced an itch as codiene. However this too can vary from what Im told.
 
Yeah i have experimented with this quite a bit, and use to do it a bit more often than i do now. I am only small about 45kg and have experimented with up to 300mg. for me you just have to learn the effects to appreciate them. For my body 300mg is a bit too much and the itch drives me insane but sometimes controlable. I have found the best dose for me is about 200 - 250mg with a few cones, to give me a little buzz and a nice sedative effect.

Sure its not a very strong buzz, but for how easy and cheap it is, its pretty good. But yes tolarence can build very quickly.
 
^ I agree. You need to learn to appreciate the effects of codeine, especially at lower doses. Most people say the first time they try it that it doesn't do much for them. I thought the same when I first tried it but after a while when I became more familiar with the effects I started to really enjoy it. And as 12345abcde mentioned when you consider it's relative accessibility it makes for a pretty decent high. I especially love it when I'm hung over from alcohol or on a comedown. Since I haven't tried any other opiates I can only imagine how nice something stronger would be in such situations.
 
Is it possible that splitting the pills could be a myth, or has it been confirmed... Because I've used on several occasions, but one time I have got considerably sick and once my friend got bad reactions which match the symptoms of an ibuprofen overdose, He split the pills also and when he went to the doctors they told him that it was all a myth, "that they are easily, but the doses havn't been divideda and are still in both halves".
I always taste test with mine and also see what reactions the pills have to water and usually the iburprofen side usually stays solid while the codeine (N+) side dissolves, this usually backs up my suspicions

Also the ones that don't split easily, is the codeine still seperated and for some reason just don't split easily?
and also is it possible to have a bad batch that do split evenly, yet aren't divided into codeine and ibuprofen?
 
This was the first time i'd tried the N+'s, after reading all I could on here. I also did a "dissolve" test on one to ensure the N+ side was the codeine. To be honest, in hindsight, I got more of a buzz when I was splitting the 48 neurophens .. LOL ... says something about natural highs hey?
 
yeah, I actually get quite a significantly high buzz from nurofen as well, and also test water solubility to back up suspicions.. but I wonder why this is. Oh well, have fun and don't do anything stupid. Just because they are pharmecutical does not mean that they are safe.. Perhaps they have a red mitsubishi batch of nurofen plus 8) ,where again people don't know what ratios they are getting and wether the codeine is actually on one side. But for anyone who see's this as a safe opportunity to test out a new drug remember that there could and are risks involved.
 
^my last 3 attempts at using codeine (N+) were all terrible. I am feeling sick all the time now and have been doing N+ since the start of the year. I was okay back then, but now - I can't seem to hold it down. I get the shakes and go cold, and I am really feeling bad, like something is stuck inside of me and it wants to get out.....I can't sleep, so I am posting.

I just posted a new thread in the 'homeless' threads 'cause I was not sure where to post. I am sure and I think there may be some bad batches of N+ out there as I have never felt this ill before.:( Tonight I tried 200mg and now I really regret it. I used to enjoy 300mg with a great buzz, and was never sick.... be cautious people. :( I am not having a good time right now - thanks to Codeine.
 
codeine can be pretty bad sometimes...i doubt it's a bad batch but i find when i take higher doses (250mg) i can get the shakes and go cold and i get very anxious. if im smoking weed with codeine and it goes bad i normally have a few shots of scotch and that calms me down and makes me relax and take in the effects.
 
smokeblow: If your using this substance regularly its possibly you are developing a dependence to it. I recomend you stop using it, preferably with a roughly 20% reduction in use per week. This should reduce any uncomfortably effects that stopping may be expected to trigger. It sounds like its time to jump ship as you don't realy seem to be having much fun with the stuff. If your having a hard time your welcome to send one of those homeless posts toward my message inbox =)

Those of you that have had the nasty experiences with codeine, have you noticed anything different about the box or the pills themselves? I know in the UK they get a lot of non-splittables, but recently the box has changed and so it is thought that the non-splittables come in the newer box.
 
Ive taken heaps of nurofen b4 and it did shit!! Im not tellin ppl to do this but if u really wanna make urself sick take like 10 or 12 asprin. But it eventually wrecks ur insides and then u will die. I have overdosed on asprin and they make u drink charcoal so thats not very nice to taste.
 
Weed Queen, You do realise your supposed extract the codiene out of the nuofen (or split them) before eating them?

I havn't experianced any unusual high from diffrent boxes of nurofen. Just the same good old codiene high.
 
Could someone confirm for me: There are only two 'types' of N+ tablets out there: 1. The easy splitable ones, with the N+ side being codeine and 2. The crumbly ones with no distinctive codeine or ibuprofen sides.

If that is not the case, and tablets can split with the N+ being the Ibuprofen does that indicate the entire pack will be like that? ie. Could I do a reagent test on 1 tablet, and that is indicative of the entire pack?

^ You can do a simple cold water extraction on a single split tablet, which should be indicative of the whole pack. I haven't heard of any cases where splittables and non-splittables have been mixed within a pack. Split the first pill, then chuck the side which should be the ibuprofen (unmarked side) in a glass of cold water. Give it a gentle stir. If most of it does not dissolve then you have yourself ibuprofen. If you really want, you can test the codeine side (N+) in another glass of cold water, but then you will have to drink the solution if it is indeed codeine.

REMEMBER: The N+ side is the codeine side, not the ibuprofen. The ibuprofen side has no markings on it whatsoever.
