Clothes made in sweatshops? Disgusting... but I need to wear clothes and can't/don't/won't make my own. Consumer electricals? Hideous for the environment, in a great many cases, and also made under conditions so bad that even "good" companies like Apple have to install anti-suicide nets on their factories cos so many workers were throwing themselves off the roof in despair at the working conditions. Food of more or less any description? Horrible for the environment, terrible conditions (for livestock and the like especially) and so on. It's kinda hard to find things which are not deeply troubling when you scratch the surface. Where do you even start?
Not now - nor never have been - a bleedin; nihilist though. What is the point of nihilism? Seriously. What is the fukkin point?
Also, fuck soya and tofu - Quorn ftmfw![]()
I can dig this.
I went supermarket today, to buy some free range organic RSCA freedom food chicken breast... to find out they were nearly £8! So I went to the quorn cabinet... and nearly puked at the selection.... Walked back over to the meat counter and saw 2 sizey turkey breasts for £3.56. Sold.
Already selling out on my vegetarian soul. Living life ethically is certainly a challenge.
