Just about to have roast cod with braised fennel and some sort of fennel and brown shrimp butter
The only thing that gets poured on my roast dinner is lo-salt
Gravy just makes everything wet and dirty

You assume that I like lo-salt because it's healthier or something when actually it's coz itz saltier (as you suggested) and somewhat fizzy upon the tip of my tongue.Which is ironically far more salty than actual salt. Can't stand the stuff myself. Salt is only bad for you if you use a fuckload - lower tolerance and give your tastebuds a chance![]()
I wouldn't put gravy with white fish but a light meat based jus (espescially if made into a vinaigrette) can be very nice. Unfortunately I don't have the stuff needed for that.
Aren't they just what we call sausages (in chippies)?On the subject of chippys why cant you get saveloys in the north west? What is wrong with you people
