I've only gone and bought myself another one of those fucking Fray Bentos pies. Why do I insist on doing this to myself?!

Always healthy here!

I had porridge for breakies but made the man a roll and sausage. His arteries need lining for the coming winter 8)

Got a Spanish chicken, chorizo and butterbean stew on for dinner later, undecided about cous-cous or mash to go with it.

just waiting for nerdboy to deliver me one of these upstairs, with loads of melted cheese and salad

and piles and piles of jam jars

Pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni, tastes great but no doubt gonna give me bloody heartburn again.

Sort of stumbled upon this meal a few weeks ago and have made it every few days since - literally cabbage stir fry topped with burnt egg.

The cabbage is sweet against the burnt taste of the eggs :) - takes a few mins to prepare and a few mins to cook :D

You seem to have a thing for burnt offerings, Bear. I can kinda see it with eggs though. I can't stand eggs - they make me projectile vomit usually - but I will eat eggs in the form of egg-fried rice. One of my all-time fave dins is my version of kedgeree wherein I make spiced egg-fried rice rather than adding hard-boiled eggs. Could actually live on the stuff. The relevant part being that I particularly like the eggy bits (and the other bits for that matter) that have slightly caught on the pan.

Makes cooking way easier if you both don't mind eating burnt food - with the eggs I heat the oil, add sesame seeds until they are just starting to brown then add the eggs, gives the eggs a smoky sesame flavor / almost crust. I think burnt is a bit much, there just very browned :D. I know what you mean about the stuff that has caught on the bottom of the pan - I had left some of last nights meal in the pan that was off the bottom (was going to be my breakfast) but BF spotted it and ate it last night.

Not cooking today as going out for dinner tonight (probably Chinese).

chicken with beans and tomato-garlicy sauce.. well it was supposed to be a sauce but came out more stew-like. a bit too much sauce but hey the company lvoes it anyway.
