EADD what are you munching on? Not overdone like the last thread.

Looks pretty sweet to me, had no idea you could get induction at that price! I'm sure you will be more than happy with ceramic glass though.

I'm used to using a ceramic glass hob at my flat & it's alright. I much prefer using a gas hob as it's easier to control the temperature but they get the job done.

Just had some Chicken & Leek casserole... used some leeks from the garden & it was really nice, except the chicken was a tad dry. Just being picky though.

Use dark meat next time, much more flavour and almost impossible to dry out in a stew/casserole. I know some people don't like it though.

Nice looking casserole though, I could go for that right now.

I had the glass hob things in halls last year, found them a right pain in the ass but they were probably shit ones and I hadn't been used to anything but gas until then.

Err food. I had a bagel for brekky, bit of yoghurt (on of those Collective Dairy ones, YUM), err 2 bananas and a white chocolate Magnum which I guess was my dinner? The Summer diet, supplement with some cocaine or your stim of choice and soon you'll be as hawt as me ;)

Hmm, thanks. So something like some chicken thigh fillets?

It does make for a great casserole though, get a nice sweet flavour from the leeks.

Fuck the fillets, get them on the bone. Closer to the bone the sweeter the meat and all that.

If you don't like bones then sure, go with fillets though. Chicken thigh is definitely my favourite bit for stewing/braising etc and you will pay less than for breast, it's win win imo.

Yeah you can pick up a load dirt cheap from Halal butchers and they're so much tastier.

Just getting through a pretty mediocre Lamb Korai - just too hot and no flavour (and [the hallmark of a shitey takeaway] fairly tough lamb) - I've really just got to stop trusting star ratings on just-eat. Either some proper extended family uprating going on, or people know nothing - both very possible.

I'll give that a shot with some from the butcher at some point. Better than those tiddly ones you get in the supermarket.

I'm going to cook something today.

chop up streaky bacon into big peaces. sliced onion. maybe another meat that is good to fry. and some black pepper and some good saauce. plus french toast. got some really good bread for that

Squash in a Thai style curry sauce :)

Not the most photogenic meal I've cooked

I just ate basically a plate full of salad because I didnt realise how much was in the container thing and now I feel like I'm going to explode. Healthy though, which is good considering all I had for dinner the day before last was a white chocolate magnum.

^^ That looks exactly like this cumin potato dish I do as a mainstay (but I put in black mustard as well). Good stuff innit :D
