EADD Nootropics thread

I really need to get some of this and hope it works for me because my memory and motivation are appauling. I'm so absent minded I go to look at the time on my phone, pull my phone out my pocket, unlock the keypad, look at it and stick it back in my pocket before realising that I haven't even looked at the time. My motivation for uni is terrible, I can't be bothered to focus or concentrate at all and I've only been back for less than a week. :|

Phenibut is very like GBL in some ways (though feels milder) and can be addictive in a similar way if taken regularly. Because of this i don't think it should be used in the same was as piracetam.

This is the kind of statement is what all too often leads to our governments endless crusades against our personal liberties with regards to our own bodies. If what your saying is true, phenibut could easily already be considered illegal at moment by the DEA under the Drug Analoge Act, and may start arresting people selling it with or without warning any time they may chose to do so. Your post has valid sentiment in the interest of harm reduction, and is commendable, but remember we free men are at war with our own governments, over our own personal liberty, so unless you've already chosen to be on their side, chose your words wisely.

Haha I do that as well! I also look a word up in a dictonary a few times before remembering how to spell it. I actually remember my short term memory going down the toilet in the last couple of years of school, I kept finding I needed to write everything down I had to do, even if it was the same day, or it'd never get remembered.

My short term memory is getting worse I'm sure of it and I rarely touch drugs. Maybe the booze?

Can someone just clarify that I can buy any type of Choline? Opting for the Choline Citrate as it appears to be cheapest. Is there a reason for this?

Someone in the know fill me in on any differences between the types if they can please. :)

Ordered. Shall apparently be here in 2-5 working days. :)

I wasn't touching anything when mine started to go bad so I've no idea what causes it. Maybe random? I still have an excellent long term memory as well.

Actually I've often said I've got a selective short term memory rather than a bad one but the things it chooses to select are mostly useless. Like I'll overhear someone elses phone number and instantly know it off by heart but never remember mine.

One weird memory action I've noticed is remembering what I was doing when I last listened to something. Not music but say I had the TV on while cooking dinner, if I watch that same show again I'll get flashbacks of exactly what I was doing at the time. As accurate as "oh, this is where I dropped the fork next to the fridge" and I'll see the whole scene in my head.

I've found no use for this skill whatsoever.

They told me that as well and it took 3 weeks.
I've had them take a whole month before iisuing me a refund when I complained with no explaination whatsoever, not so much as an email. :!

I paid an extra $3 for express delivery and was told my order would be going to the front of the queue. It better not take 3 weeks!!!

It'll probably be in the UK tomorrow and sit in a FUCKING post office depot until they get their arses in gear again on tuesday.

My hydergine, piracetam and choline are in exactly that situation as we speak! :\

Haha I have that first one too, excellent memory for stupid trivia and completely useless tat, but no recollection of what I did with my phone/keys/comb whatever. I think you have to actively want to remember something to remember it.

I have a photographic memory as well, but it only comes into play when I really, really need it, usually 3 weeks into exam sessions when I've got back to back exams and end up having to learn an entire module in a day :D Saved my arse from educational wipeout on more than a few occasions that skill!

Don't they use a courier to deliver their stuff? And hasn't the post started being delivered again, we got mail yesterday and today.

The one I used (not BN) used royal mail. Or at least an RM postie tried to put it through my door. Admittedly they did try to deliver it once, but nobody was in and they went on strike the next day. So now its stuck in their chuffing depot, which is miles and miles away in an industrial estate with crap transport links, and it closes at 1pm, and their redelivery service is postponed until the 16th so they can sort out all the backlog!

Not so much a skill, that's how ya brain works. All the top memory guys use imagery to help remember thing.

When I was young I had immense difficulty reading and spelling, I was taught techniques for remembering spellings by using rhymes and imagery.

Often when I'm spelling words I will recall associated images and stories which play back the spelling.

"Because" is a word I always used to have difficulty when I was young, the rhyme is "bake eight cakes and use six eggs". Whenever I spell that word to this day I get flashed of someone baking cakes, with the eggs out on the work surface. lol :\

Modafinil is shit IMO. There's a reason why a stimulant isn't scheduled, if it's weaker than coffee.

Sorry to take the post away from the topic but I would like to agree with 50% of this statement. I found modafinil to be shit but weaker than coffee? More unpleasant, less malleable YES but weaker - not IMO.

Back to nootropics - I've been on levetiracetam (1g daily), for treatment of epilepsy, for about 6 months now. Whilst I've noticed huge improvements in memory, many of these relate to the withdrawal of my previous epilepsy meds - though I think that after 3 months of being on levetiracetam alone, I was functioning a tiny bit more efficiently.

Before I continue, is there anyone here with the knowledge to suggest if/how/why levetiracetam acts similarly/differently to piracetam? Here's a wiki link to racetams, which has the structural diagram of piracetam and a link to the structure of levetiracetam:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racetam

I have found that levetiracetam hugely potentiates ketamine - particularly the pace of onset and levels of dissociation from 'real world' objects found within the k world.

I'm not sure about whether it potentiates stimulants - I have tried methylphenidate whilst on it and am soon to try dextroamphetamine. The negative effects of methylphenidate seem slightly more prolonged but there is some 'buzz' that wasn't present when I took without levetiracetam a few years ago.

I cant comment on mania - I create all my own mania-esque scenarios by abusing methylphenidate (prescribed but abused because it doesn't work for my ADD). The levetiracetam seems incredibly clean, physiogically and cognitively silent.

Ordered from BulkNutrition last night n received an email this evening saying Thank you for your oder balh blah blah shipped via Deutsche Post Intern, because of this there is no tracking information and you should receive your package within 5-10 days

The cunts told me when I placed the order 2-3 days and I paid extra for some form of special delivery where I was put to the front of the queue. Now it suddenly increased they have my money. FUCKERS!

Those who ordered from bulk nutrition did your parcel even tho comes from a courier end up being delivered from Royal Mail as thy tried to deliver something for me today n cant think what else it can be.

Also if it is it and it arrived on re-delivery on Friday I have no scales or capsules to measure what I'm taking. I'll prob use the table spoon method as mentioned earlier in this thread....to start with what doses should I go for, tea spoon wise?

My hydergine/piracetam/choline stack is working excellently. I feel a lot more motivated and "in the moment".

The only downside of this is the massive anal twitches that piracetam induces in me. It's a rare but documented effect, the stuff tends to cause my arsehole to flinch horrendously a few times a day. Nothing dehabilitating but it's quite unpleasant!!!

Lovely, my arsehole tends to do that anyway, hope it doesn't get worse!! :\

Think it'll be worth it tho if it sorts out my motivation issues and gets rd of that spaced out to fuck feeling I get all too often!!
