Like Minds is on iplayer now (until the 24th) and it's fucking brilliant. I think so anyway, read onwards:

I just watched an Australian film called 'Animal Kingdom' that was quite good. Certainly alright to kill some time, and worth a watch. Wouldn't watch it again, but it's worth a mention.
 
Just saw that Oldboy is being remade by .... Spike Lee. What the fuck?!

I can understand Hollyweird remaking it because of the current annoying trend for remakes, but fucking hell, getting Spike to do it? Bizarre choice.
 
I thought I posted in here last night :? I watched Kill List based on recommendations here, excellent film, thank you. Thoroughly recommend it. It's not just a great nasty (it's not all that nasty really), it's just a good film.

This is my favourite thread, keep the recommendations coming :)
 
Darkskies is worth watching (bit like a long xfile's episode but still ok), Beautiful Creatures was another easy to watch fun movie.
 
^The space between the pines is another decent newish movie - Lords of Salem (not sure WTF this was about?) - Deep Dark Canyon - Promised Lands - Cloud Atlas - Standing Up (the Goats).

Maniac was probably one of the better 'horror' movies I've seen in a while - It's another remake but still pretty creepy.
 
That's great, I've exhausted the Cannes awards and a couple of those Greatest Movies of All Time lists (yeah ok). We need a Bearlove Film Festival by the looks of it :D

Woody Allen - check.
Ridley Scott - check.
Marlene Dietrich - check. Actually, no, I haven't watched all of those :sus
Tarantino - check.
Fuck that I'm not compiling a list I'll be here all night! :)

Oh awesome, I was gonna go see that one. Glad to hear it's good. (although isn't it the place beyond the pines? ;) )

So I really feel like watching a Tarantino film tonight and I've already seen Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained, so those are out. I was thinking Reservoir Dogs, good choice or...?
