Really laid back office, no dress code and no crap like asking to go to the toilet or to make some tea/coffee/fag break, as I've heard a lot of call centres are like.
Its also good that its for charities because you don't get any abuse and you're normally dealing with kind people. Was surprised to see that the unemployed are the second biggest givers after the aged.
Downside is the shifts.. 1pm to 9pm (you can do half shifts; 1 to 4:45 and 5:15 to 9) are annoying.. can't really do anything in the morning and its rather a late time to get back. But if you prove yourself, you get promoted to doing cold calling work which is harder, but you also get commission. The people that are good at it take home an extra £200-300 a week on top of their normal pay lol. Its also 9 to 5.
