Due to the pretty bad state of diazepam supply at the moment regarding fakes (not only other benzos in the tabs but also tabs that are merely chalk, and from usuallt reputable vendors that I have used for years and who have sent replacements for fakes that were also fake), I am thinking of switching from diazepam to etizolam. Have used it before, back when it was a legal RC and came in little pellets and also powder and also unwittingly in "street valium" in which it was the main active ingredient. There was a tablet going around at the time in Scotland that was so powerful, there were all kinds of rumours including that it contained rohypnol. It was etiz from test samples I saw, and I reckon that whoever was pressing them didn't realise how potent it was (probs putting way more than 1mg in a tablet).
Anyway, if seems like a safer bet at the moment but how do people think it compares? I dose roughly 3 times a day (10mg per dose) with diaz, depending on when I get up, how stressful the day is etc. People say that etizolam doesn't last as long, is this true? I base my doses to be roughly 6 hours a part or more but I've heard of people saying that they would redose on etiz every 3, which seems excessive and over the top.
Another thing is the "euphoria" which I think is quite specific to people who use benzos. It isn't euphoria like you get from heroin or the like and I'm not sure if it should even really be called it, but I know what they mean. A lot of people say etiz is less "euphoric" but also better as an anti-anxiety med, which is my primary reason for using benzos in the first place.
Anyway just wondered on general thoughts from people who use for the general reason of anxiety and who have considerations regarding the differences of both, positive and negative. I know that it is subjective but I threw approx £110 this month to get my supply on fakes. Thankfully one vendor replaced them (fake again but they will hopefully send something else). I need a decent benzo at the moment due to a stressful living situation - things are good and getting better but it helps. Coming off of gear is a part of this stress and diazepam is a life saver sometimes in that regard, on top of my legal treatment. I usually use for 2 months and then stop for the sake of avoiding dependency and also for tolerance. But with so much fake diazepam, I'm just thinking that etizolam might be a good change that isn't too noticeable and isn't some weird new benzo I haven't heard of and which doesn't have any data around it.
Anyway ramble over. There is also clonazepam and xanax - the first I've done once and barely remember and the latter I find too addictive and short lasting. More of a "fun" thing. But thoughts would be appreciated.
