Does mustard belong on Sandwiches?

For my money boars head delicatessen style mustard is where it's at and is win on turkey, chicken salad, and occasionally lightly on roast beef with mayo and horseradish.

i like mustard. i've recently started to build up a collection in the fridge, i believe there's about 4-5 right now. couple dijons, spicy brown, and the dreaded yellow french's that my 3 year old likes.

does it belong on a sandwich? when i first read the title i was like, "HELL YEAH IT DOES, what in the world kind of question is that?!" but now i realize i really only eat it with hotdogs, corndog nuggets, or on fast food burgers. or other stuff like potato salad or basting ribs with it. i can't really think of a sandwich that i eat it with...even roast beef. i guess i have to be in a mood to eat mustard on a sammich.

No....it isn't different perspectives. As Eras3r pointed out, a sandwich is any food item made with 2 or more pieces of leavened bread with 1 or more layers of filling. A hamburger is clearly a sandwich.

i've tried every type of the stuff out there. mustard is an abomination to all things human. at least human taste buds. i can't stand the stuff.

Agreed where English Mustard is concerned.

It looks like the discharge from a rotting wound... and it doesn't taste much better, either.

Vile stuff. Not overly-keen on Dijon, but it goes well as a cooking ingredient with meatballs.

Wholegrain mustard is something else. I love dat shit!
