amazing pics in both of those links. the hologram is neat as well. works well with how flow-y the dress is. almost like a candle flame.

dude, lindsey fucking slayed the runway at atelier versace. just wow.

i like the hood too, supposedly a nod to grace jones to me they gave the collection a futuristic, arab-esque type vibe. overall i liked it =)

was just browsing dior couture. after the dramatic showmanship of galliano i just don't know what to think. it's pretty, tho that isn't really a compliment. its kinda weird, a house where galliano was there longer than christian dior himself, reinvented with raf and his take on modern couture. just personally even the homme line (raf doesn't design for) its all just nice and wearable now. maybe a change where it seems customers want more understated luxury and not obnoxious logos, *cough LV*

gotta say highlight so far has been thom browne, his menswear collection was so cool. fantasy, whimsical, head pieces by stephen jones, some 2 dimensional absurd shit a la comme des garcon fall 2012. http://www.style.com/fashionshows/review/F2014MEN-TBROWNE

really cool history, cultural background about junya and his patchwork, it comes from "boro"

at first i was kinda taken aback at what appears to be literally no heels. but holy smokes, those detail shots of the sneakers are shocking. i bet they make you so good at tennis.

fuck obnoxious logos and the customer.

trying to avoid too many pics before chanel uploads the show, but that's a joke. chanel casts so fucking well; it's always in my track tags. cool hair...

Yves Saint Laurent (movie -2014)

Good movie for those who are interested in the little Prince of Haute Couture. Lots of gay love and drugs snorted.

Watch for another biopic about him coming late 2014, named the same, made by a film auteur. Expect lots of bizarre/drug induced images. Looking forward to also watching it.
 
been watching some of the spring couture shows. i love chanel's, but i'm getting sick of karl's taste in nonsense accessories. no more stupid leather gloves. knee and elbow pads? why man.

i'd seen a few on tumblr, but not the full editorial or any attribution. it's a cool editorial. lindsey's versatile. she's made it from mid-teen runway explosion to well established. she does good stuff; i don't see her wasting time with cash-churning catalogue work. she's after cool projects. if today has supermodels, she's one of them. she has doll and bitch down. she doesn't play it too safe; she always has been branching out. i think she can push it much further.

haven't had good reason to post her in this thread until now, but i've been all about this little model laneya grace. she's in a avacii music video. it's given her modeling career a boost in the right direction. she was just photographed by dani brubaker...

for Collezioni Bambini. i've never seen the bambini version, but Collezioni's couture issues are amazing. way too expensive, so i just page through at the store.

can't find clothing credit further than vintage pieces from shona patterson. that said, that newspaper top sure reminds me of what i thought was armani junior in the mackenzi shoot for L'Officiel Enfant by brubaker. now i'm thinking just the shirt is armani. and that the fancier stuff is galliano. the pants in this editorial sure look like they say galliano. not the winner anyway. that shirt and the little dress & jacket outside of the nsfw are adorable. i bet the dress is vintage. safe to say the shirt is versace.

made my morning! crazy that a collection can have such a spectrum of hideous to beautiful jewelry. i gotta watch 15 more times. i didn't allot for that in my morning. lindsey's "a modern day fairy nymph"? she does a great job of playing one in this video. and in the Self Service video. i dunno. she walks hard. maybe in that she's humanoid, but hardly human. young goddess.

so true, off to a great start in 2014. since i started following, to me it seems like it went coco rocha>karlie >joan smalls>cara now lindsey doing it real big. tho it could just be what i kinda tend to gravitate towards, personal taste... and what i choose to pay attention to, heh.

woops missed this post, last one on previous page. good to see a new poster here lol. but yea, will def give it a viewing when i get the chance. whoever casted the actor to portray him nailed it, looks just like him. still amazes me he was head designer at dior when he was only 21 years old. talented ? nah... GENIUS.
