Coming off 1 year .5 insuffulated Herion addicted. Using subs (HELP PLEASE)

My dumb dr made me go from 60mg methadone to 32 mg suboxzone and withdrawal is horrible how long till I'm normal been 40 hours and I'm crippled

Yeah dude 32mg buprenorphine should absolutely blow 60mg methadone into the next solar system. They're definitely not equal doses. BlueLight's own opioid conversion chart states that methadone is equianalgesic to morphine (1mg = 1mg) but buprenorphine is 0.3mg to 10mg methadone.

As namnoc stated, your doc had you dose your sub WAY too soon. Methadone is long-acting and you have to wait much longer after your last dose of methadone before you can take the sub or you'll plunge into precipitated withdrawal, which is what happened to you. 32mg of buprenorphine is a VERY high dose and should have held you just fine with no dope sickness whatsoever.

Next time try waiting, like, 3 days after your last dose of methadone before taking a sub. Your doc should have known better.

...I never want to do this shit again. I have 0% craving to use again...

Dude that is SO good. Despite the symptoms you're feeling, you have no cravings. That's usually what makes people tap out and go score instead of sticking it through with their detox.

You should be an inspiration to anyone who wants to kick.

Ya... these symtoms remind me of how good I felt before I used and loving life normally. Whatever is coming my way, I deserve it and understand that. What goes UP must come DOWN! Own it and better yourself!

Do any of you think these are symtoms from stoping Tramdol or the benzo? both used shortly no more then a month on daily dosages.. Or is it lingering Heroin or sub withdrawal?

Dude the fart smelling horrible, that's some funny shit and takes me back to when I was wd. I used to torment everyone in my house and it was my own sick sense of humor and my only pleasure, lol. Just watch it because when you are wd there is a fine line between gas and liquidy solids. Another problem I had was I'd burp up a nasty stink from deep down in my gut.Turned out all he dope I did damaged my gallbladder, the burps I had were more rank then the farts( I know fucking disgusting).

I am sorry I have no idea if you could be withdrawing from the Tram. I highly doubt you are withdrawing from the Benzo since it's been only a month and from what I recall was not a daily thing.

Still, you are slowly getting better and as Phil said, the fact you do not crave is awesome. You are really well on your way to recovery and it is great that you take time to share the story. It is inspirational.

Yep.. Sticky farts, Ctually this evening was the first time my pooop was somewhat solid... Its like string cheese with corn in it.. and bright green sometimes. Which is due to the OVERACTIVE intestigiines and peralisis. Due to the cramping, discomfort, lots of buildup.. it comes out with a vengence, and boy does it smell! Night everyone. If I don't get sleep, i"ll update and tell you... Im going to gym 5am so it doesn't matter if I sleep or not. If it would like to rest before that session. My body can.. his choice. I'm going and busting my ass regardless. NIGHT!

For science! Lulz.

Well another sleepless night... Up at 2:30 am.. Got about 2 hours max. Day 11.... No subs Day 4: no Benzo Day 5: No Tram... Extremely tired today/ nose is clogged? Yawning a lot.. Maybe its actually from being tired this time? Sneezing. Hope I get a 2nd wave of energy somewhere. Have a good day everyone and keep grinding baby!

OP, I've followed your thread from the start. Really didn't want to chime in half way through, when you've had such an awesome response from other posters.

However, if you ever need extra support or just to chat, feel free to PM me.

Update: It's been about 8-9 more hours into the day... Chills have seemed to lessen.. Diherrreaaa has increased... Is this normal? My stools have been BRIGHT GREEN the entire day? Is this due to the bowels passing the food quickly? I want to sleep haha. I'm going to start hallucinating soon! lol

I don't know man, bright green is an indication that you're taking in something that's affecting your stool color. I'm not sure what the list of culprits would be, but I know bright green stool isn't normal. I may also be excess mucous, although I wouldn't be the one to tell you what mucous is doing in your stool.

Hmmm. I'll have to look into it. I have never had green shit... So this makes me think its directly associated with opiate withdrawal?

I'm not a doctor but a doctor at a detox I was at told me that stools will be off colored and foul because of your bodies inability to absorb certain nutrients(I hope I'm quoting him accurately) after prolonged abuse of opiates. It takes awhile for your body to right itself kinda like with the temporal clock wake sleep cycle, which in that instance your brain needs to reset.
Again maybe I misunderstood his answer to me so if you are worried ask your doctor but I went through the bouts of the nasties for as I said 6-8 weeks and then went back to pumping out Lincoln logs!

Thanks for all of the information namnoc. I did some research and its common with opiate withdrawal. Like you said.. Nutrient absorbtion and the overactive intestines, bile isn't absorbed, causing "GREEN" coloring of loose stools. Common within 1 month of opiate withdrawal. Average 1 week -month. My symptoms are Lethargy, Loose stools, Anxiety, Chest pressure (anxiety)? Headache.. pressure behind eyes.(Benzo)? Sneezing(Opiate) and Bone/Muslce pain/cramping/ High heart rate... 96bpm.. My normal is 82.. I have fitbit which tracks it every day. :). Chills, Hot N cold has gone away! That's a PLUS! Still havn't used any Tram or Benzo to aid me anymore.. Tomorrow will be day 5 off those and day 12 off Suboxone. and 3 1/2 weeks off Heroin! I got this everyone! Like I said before, I want to be a thread to help people in the future and I promise you I will update daily/multiple times a day.

I mean, whatever it is, it can't be dangerous. Inability to absorb certain nutrients sounds probable.

I had blue shit after binging on a whole blueberry pie one time.

Bhall99----this is one of the best threads I have read in a long time. I have done the withdrawal and relapse routine more times than I care to count and I'm looking at it again now. I am at 100 mg of oxycodone per day for about a year now. It's good to read a thread that gives an actual day to day accurate description of both ups and downs and specific description of symptoms. Keep up the good work. I may follow your methodology. I have the Suboxone. I also have ibogaine, which I've used before to quit. I will continue to follow your thread. You are obviously a strong minded individual. That is a great asset for the task at hand.

Thank you Frizerman. I believe that to change yourself, you have to be ready. Don't do it for ANYONE ELSE. Make sure you are ready, and that you utilize everything you can to be successful. I did a TON of research prior to tapering/going off it. I wanted to increase my odds 10x fold before I made the conscious desc.... I know you know the pain.. The addiction.. The compulsive behavior. Like I said about 5 pages ago. I had a bad trip.. I mad a fool of myself, but in the long run I had real emotions real pain. I wanted to share those with everyone. I wanted to stop posting, but that doesn't help anyone. I applogized and moved forward. I will do this till I beat this. Much love everyone. Keep digging deep!

What up? I'm on day 9 off heroin..used for a year..shooting obviously.quit cold turkey. Withdrawal was hell but I want my dam life back..I also used from 2003-2006..but went on Suboxone for treatment..then only Tramadol (200mg) for several years..it helped a lot..but this is different this time I'm on nothing..only Adderall which I have Rx for and don't abuse it..mi issues are lack of energy still..idk if it's PAWS or what but I know Tramadol seemed to give me energy..this my first post so..I just want to know when I'll ever get my energy back..I'm thinking maybe GABAPENTIN might help..not really restless anymore just lethargic..I say use subs or trams for a short time only..or else ya just gotta get off those then and I hear it's worse..

See my man,you quiting is an inspiration for others. Also the way you don't sugar coat it you let people realize its hard but worth it. I've never doubted your sincerity and am proud to be a part of YOUR thread!
