Codeine & CWE Megathread: Version II - [insert witty title]

I find Im pretty dehydrated the next day after taking PST. So its not surprising that you would have a head ache the next day. catching fish you should look into buying some of those rehydrating liquids/powders like hydralite or similar. The last time I had a largish dose (1kg) I felt pretty fucking sick and gross the next day. I found a couple of packets of hydralite in the cupboard (a powder that you dissolve in water) and had like 3 of them. I literally felt instantly better as soon as I drank them.

Ive been meaning to buy a box or two just to have in the house. I think they would be beneficial to have after codeine and probably after most drugs really. Hydration is super fucking important.

--------

On a different subject though.... does anyone know if telfast taken within the last 24hrs would have diminishing effect on an opiate ... ie. telfast at 8pm the previous day then codeine or another opiate like oxy taken at 4pm the next day?

Good advice about hydration. It's one of those things that is so basic but can make a big difference with lots of substances. Try to drink water steadily throughout the day and during your substance use.

Also, people were talking about headaches from opiates just recently on the Other Drugs forum, and the consensus was that some people (like me) tend to experience them more than others, and aside from taking a lower dose of opiates, taking a different painkiller such as ibuprofen (aspirin for me), and/or drinking lots of water, there is not much you can do about it.

Regarding PST: personally I don't like it. It feels dirty to me and I'm more likely to get headaches and nausea on it than from other opiates. I don't like the variability in strength either. It makes dosing too unpredictable.

I find that PST's 'dirtiness' varies. Last night I had 1.1kg and it really hit the spot, no nausea, no dirtiness- and I lied down in my bed for about 7 hours straight. You know you have a good drug when it can make you lie down for hours on end and be happy. I have a headache at the moment, but it's really not much - i'm sure the dehydration plays a major role in the negative effects of Poppy seed tea.

I'm a fan of Hydralyte; it tastes better then the other brand, and it is good for hangovers (back when I used to drink) or for staying hydrated when affected by other substances. :)

Regarding the fexofenadine (Telfast), no it does not have an inhibitory on opioids and in fact is not metabolized by the CYP450 enzyme system.

Has anyone tried different methods for potentiating/extending/bringing back the codeine effects? Lately Ive noticed that when the codeine wears off I do my 1h stretching program (whole body one called P90X Stretch-X) and once completed Im back to where I was but without the euphoria. I get a crazy tingly warm feeling similar to that of an oxy a warm fuzzy feeling right after. Its crazy, Im not really sure about the whole mechanism but I know it definitely works.

Stretching increases blood flow and introduces fresh blood/oxygen into the body and brain, maybe it has something to do with the metabolism to or helps convert the unconverted codeine thats still in the blood stream? Would be keen to hear about anyone else trying this, its incredible how well it works. You just feel in the most relaxed state. If someone would of told me this without trying Id prob call it BS but works well for me. I sometimes even have a few sniffs of poppers which as you know intensifies the effects of the substance your on.

Exercise decreases the stress hormones such as cortisol and increases endorphins. Endorphins are the body’s natural feel good chemicals, and when they are released through exercise, your mood is boosted naturally. As well endorphins, exercise also releases adrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine. These chemicals work together to make you feel good.

Endorphins are defined as hormone-like substances that are produced in the brain and function as the body’s natural painkillers. During exercise, these endorphins are released, and this can produce feelings of euphoria and a general state of wellbeing. The endorphins produced can be so powerful that they actually mask pain

Endorphins are the body’s natural pain and fever relievers. They are produced by the pituitary gland and hypothalamus during strenuous exercise, trauma and excitement. Endorphins, or endogenous opioid polypeptide compounds, resemble opiates in the way they produce analgesia and feelings of well-being.

A “rush” of endorphins, brought on by pain, danger, stress or exercise, brings with it feelings of exhilaration. Nerve impulses reach the spinal cord and endorphins are released, preventing more pain signals from being sent. The word “endorphin” is an abbreviated version of “endogenous morphine.” The interaction of endorphins with opiate receptors in the brain reduces the perception of pain, acting in a manner similar to morphine and codeine

Pretty interesting stuff:)

Give me heroin any day over exercise.

Maybe that was uncalled for. I used to exercise a lot as a kid, you know the type, I was ultra competitive to the point that I'd take it too far. If I didn't win at something, I'd crack the shits. I'd train, practise, get better at it, and eventually win. Now I just want to shoot heroin. Maybe there's a correlation there. Maybe I'm just drunk and on benzo's talking shit.

^ i've certainly experienced some interesting synergy with opiates (pod tea) and physical exertion.

i've experienced this both before getting high (exertion followed by opium) and after (exertion causing a rejuvenation of the euphoric effects hours after dosing).
it doesn't seem to happen every time - for me anyway - but i've had the odd pleasant surprise.

i've experienced this after riding my bike, or having good sex. it was definitely more than a post-coital glow, and was more euphoric than the initial peak effects. quite amazing, but i've not been able to reliably replicate it.

how vigorous are these stretches, sustanon?

i think i've just found the answer to our obesity epidemic...junkie exercise programs.
get on the gear, and get fit. life, be in it!

Got no idea what Opi8 is talking about hahaha.

They are pretty vigorous man, its an hour full body stretch, even when I do them sober its very relaxing and anxiety reducing but when doing it on codeine for example (only opiate Ive tried this with) its a whole new level. Not entirely clear on how it all works but there is definitely something about it that needs to be investigated haha. We are all usually looking for something that we can use to extend the duration/potentiate the effects etc.

Does anybody think that crushing up Instant Release tablets seems redundant for a CWE? I mean, for nurofen brands it might be useful because of the outer coating, but what about panadeine extra brands? It'd be alot easier and quicker for me if I didn't have to crush them up in a mortar and pestle.

Hey guys,

I have no opiate tollorence but require around 400mg of codeine to get a bit of an effect but far from a solid nod. Was thinking of throwing 20mg of temaz in the mix. Thoughts?

Much appreciated
